This is definitely McBurn's theme! Such a chaotic, unhinged and absolutely badass feel to it! Really helped keep the adrenaline-rush going for one of the most memorable and epic boss gauntlet fights.
I find McBurn to be the parallel to Azrael in BlazBlue, in that they are uber powerful and they are restrained by their own boredom. They don’t fight you unless they sense your fighting spirit or that you are strong. They barely lift a finger in combat and hold back a lot and they still put you through the ringer. Their power served no purpose in the story outside of finding an opponent that will make them exert themselves to their limits. But unlike Azrael, McBurn, lore-wise, actually gave his all in his final battle with Rean in the last Cold Steel game. Azrael was going to give his all but was sealed away by Kagura at the last minute. So he never showed us his full potential in the story outside of his Astral Finish.
I'm pretty Azrael goes all put in his fight against Kagura in CF, but loses because he possessed no actual skill, relying on his strength to brute force his way through every fight, but met his match against kaguras skill that he honed through years of practice
@@novasco6960 Azrael never goes 100% in Blazblue, he can only fight or match equal to a character's fighting spirit. He was getting close to 100% though And no, it's not that he possessed no actual skill, in Chrono Phantasma Kagura said his own skill and Azrael's skill are actually on par with one another, its just that Azrael's endurance was too much. Don't forget Azrael was strong enough to break through and get into the dimension Embryo Central fiction was in with raw strength. Jin and Kagura just axe'd him before he started to get too ridiculous really
Alright then Falcom, all is forgiven. I thought Erosion of Madness from the last game was a bit weak for McBurn's theme, but I see they were saving the best for last.
All five of those fights are amazing. Granted the song changes for the fourth fight, and then again for the fifth fight. And boy was I glad they let you save after the first three
@@mystery8820 Maybe because Falcom keeps letting him make electric guitar based songs despite; as you claim, specializing in the violin. I don't know much about this though, It's the first time I've heard about this Singa business.
Right? Gave no shits about him in 2. Came to appreciate him in 3 due to his friendly banter with his allies. But 4, he shook the fucking world as we know it, and now he’s literally the the most interesting character with a link to expand the franchise to nigh limitless potential.
Legends say he's still holding back
He... actually wasn’t at the end. In the last fight he gives it his all... until he remembers and bails.
@@lenleon3699 you say that but he isn't even winded at the point where you "beat" him
McBurn:Lol still holding back

Until you hear a different one, anyway...
@@jamesrandall470 yeah his true theme
Is like ear porn…the song represents Mcburns true inner self lol
Maybe try Cold Steel 3 first?
God the boss themes and their fights are so fun. Can't wait to go home and continue my playthrough.
oh
While I always felt like "Erosion of Madness" is the perfect theme for McBurn, THIS CRAZY THEME WORKS AS GOOD FOR HIM TOO!
There is something addictive about this song and i don't know what it is
For some reason, i listen to this everyday
damn, of all the boss themes that i know, this one is just too awesome.

He gave his all but stop in the middle (fortunately for us ^^ ) McFirebro is a monster among monsters

初めにこのbgmがあまり好きじゃなかったでも、今このbgmが大好きいですよ。
I love how chaotic this battle theme is
This theme feels the like embodiment of McBurn
its out of this world....
@@SparkerEXE I see what you did there
Clever Comment

Out of this world? This song would break Ouroboros' Divergent Law!

Holy based and McBurn pilled. I can’t wait to get to this fight, this drummer knows his progressive metal beats.
Anyone else remember that side quest where this played for those Hercules despite it being McBurn’s theme?
Now that you mention it-
Yeah, I do.
They just wanted to borrow his song can you blame them?
Have to say the music from this game is the best falcom have done in a long time. So many good songs. Nice to see haha
This sounds like some of Marty Friedman’s newer material. APPROVED.
Holy crap. I just finished Cold Steel IV’s Fragment: A Shattered Blade and this might already be my favorite Trails game.
i love that you put in the whole title
When he gets motivated(aka demon form) he reminds me of Zaraki Kenpachi so much.
Feel the heat.
"This one a scorcher! Incandescent Hellfire!"
Berzerk ogre rean : *took just about 2000 damage* .... DIE !!
マクバーン「地上の出し物に負けないくらい踊り狂うとしようぜぇ!!!」

Now this is a boss theme for McBeast
You mean, McFireBro?
This and Severe Blow
MISTEEEERRRRRRR BEEEAAASST
聴けば聴くほどよく聴こえてくるスルメ曲って奴だな
Alright then Falcom, all is forgiven. I thought Erosion of Madness from the last game was a bit weak for McBurn's theme, but I see they were saving the best for last.
Kinda makes you wish you could hear Severe Blow from Cold Steel 2 in the Stargazer's Tower fight.
and people still hating on singa for making this track
We're all going to die the musical
Do anyone have (short ver) of this theme ?
I was disappointed with erosion of madnaess but this makes up for it. End of fragment chapter was fucking insane dude
Kinda wish they put Severe Blow again in Cold Steel 3 when you fight him at Stargazer's Tower.
David Timmer yea that track wouldve been way cooler for all the ouroboros fights in 3
@@iwanttoputkamuistoesinmymo5938 Well, yeah, they did bring back "Belief" for the pre-rivalry battles after all
Careful guys, this one's a scorcher
This is the new theme for fighting my man McBeast??? =D
McBeast? You mean McBro?
*McFireBro
This one's a scorcher!
When you wait 3 entire games for a guy to go all out and then he bails
I love this boss theme.
Sometimes I wonder what is the purpose of his glasses, it's literally placed below his eyes
There's an answer to it in Hajimari
Clearly it's just to make him look badass
Especially since they seem to disappear when he reverts after his Empyreal Fortress Boss Fight

Dude this ost reminds me of black workshop battle
Rean/Crow/Duvalie
It sucks that you cant use brave order with rean
Its so cool
All five of those fights are amazing. Granted the song changes for the fourth fight, and then again for the fifth fight. And boy was I glad they let you save after the first three
Because Rean's in a berserk state.
Hot take. The song isn't even bad except for that weird part in the middle. Other than that it's solid.
You can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen
Who disliked this video?

Do people hate Singa just because he specializes on violin and not the electric guitar?

McBurn went from being the most generic boring antagonist to one of the most interesting in the entire series in a single scene lol.
