That Crossbones is what I'm talking about for sidescroller potential. Imagine playing as him in a sidescroller where you fight boss versions of the assists to unlock them as your own summons. Or the flipside where you still fight them, but its Crossbones using them that is the final boss at the end. I could also see Bard as a very technical sidescroller where enemies are designed with different note combos in mind.

You know who I want as a character? I want the Imitator from "The Imitator Collab 2". That stick guy was a real badass even if he lost. I'd be awesome if someone could make him as a character. Whether he would copy his enemies abilities or just use the abilities he copied in the animation, I don't know but I know it would be cool either way. Though I do think it would be cooler if he just swapped between fighting styles like near the end of the fight of the animation.
You really REALLY need to do Kali - Red mist dude. The character puts a hella lot of pressure and is quite swiftly and satisfying to use, if you do it, it would be awesome, thanks.
I think you should check out the RHG modpack characters. They’re all really unique and they’re based off of classic stickfigure fighters from my childhood.
from what I can tell, Egineer's battery meter slowly drains as each turn plays out (and it also unfortunately drains during character intros), however in my experience, only the Taser and Voltage Sweep seem to increase the battery meter and if you're still taking modded character suggestions, I'd like to see a review for Neon White, and maybe Candyman who is from Lethal League, though his moves are almost all a ?

As ive seen from your videos you like non-flashy fun characters, with this id suggest to you alchemist or bonehead (sans) really fun not super broken but still powerful characters
I could be wrong in some situations. From my experience, going head to head with melee attacks would usually result in the opponent having quicker frame moves. At the very beginning, moves like Swing can be fast enough.
For the sake of simplicity, I don’t change the background and keep it plain. However, the water you see comes from the mod called “water” something, can’t exactly remember the name.
