I love seeing characters that you don't see literally moving much in their game get a full moveset in a fast paced fighting game. It looks like this is what you are really dodging in Umbertale if it wasn't a turned based game. Edit: visually turn based (i may be stupid)
also if you didnt know, if you mix both modes you get a 3rd mode that makes toriel a living hell to fight against, and yes you can still swap to asgore and toriel
something cool i noticed when testing it in singleplayer, i think it has custom text for if your fighting against the Lunatic/Chara: "so you must be the one that the flower warned me about", from UT geno when you encounter asgore edit: yea tried it a second time, same text👍
Sometimes you can also start combo by doing micro jump and using landing damage But yeah,when i was fighting Red Mist dude seriously got messed up because of Asgore fall damage,lol
BRO i love undertale as soon as i knew sans was a charcters i had to find out what it was called, and i love asgore and toriel as characters and for characters that dont have a big moveset, putting them together is a VERY clever idea! also I saw a character use a slash projectile in the asgore intro part and i thought chara, but it wasn't when they pulled out a cross lookin thing, and this made me wonder on how to find more of these characters but don't really know how or where to look lol
im crying because of how beautiful this game is i mean look at that visuals look at that sick fighting animation i mean... the one who created this game is a genius...
Asgore can canonically dodge and may also know about respawns (about us dying, I mean) sooo yea he may be very powerful if he decides to fight for real And goat lady is scary

@@doginthedark i did some testing and found that they have... interesting text when confronting certain characters. if they confront the flower character they ask if theyve met them before. and iuf they confront a phycho they say that theres alot of bloody knife humans in this world suggesting that they are above ground (dont take this seriously i just love making little theorys)

@@fresh_dood Toriel turns God of hyperdeath when both are activated
only issue is that you need like 10 meter total to activate both, which by the time that happens the opponent is already at like 10% hp
