Sorry but I don't get it.. the windsurfing world record isn't 55.97 by Bjorn Dunkerbeck ?
Btw it is still a really great and impressive speed ! Congrats !

I did the femal speed windsurf worldrecord with 47.06 knots average speed over 500m
The man worldrecordholder is antoine albeau with 53.23 knots.
I did also the highest 2sec of a woman with 49.29 knots. And there vincent valkanears has the record of the men with 55.66 knots.
Björn just had a nice vmax but is not a worldrecord. Vincent was faster on vmax.
