I bought one of these in Dec 2018, and sold it by Feb 2019. FIRST PROBLEM is... NO GAS GAUSE NEEDLE.... GM must have saved $1.50 on that stunt... SERIOUSLY there are only small white dots indicating fuel level, on a full size gauge.... JUST PUT THE DAMN NEEDLE ON IT... Its VERY difficult to 'at a glance' tell how much gas you have in the car. It ran me out of gas TWICE... That leads to the second PROBLEM, SMALL FUEL TANK AND POOR GAS MILAGE.. at that to the NO GAS GAUGE NEEDLE and that equals... YOU running out of gas... The seat was stiff as a board.. I thought it might soften up with time, it didn't.. It became a pain in my lower back. It felt like you were sitting on top of the seat, and not in it. I lost about $5,000 in that two month ownership experience... MY First and LAST Cadillac... Oh yea, one more thing.... NO WHERE on the car does it have a "Cadillac" badge or emblem... NO WHERE !!! If I just spent $40K PLUS on a NEW CADILLAC.. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW they are behind a "CADILLAC"... STUPID CADILLAC.... I bought a nice chrome "Cadillac" emblem in that classic Cadillac scrip, on eBay for $25. and stuck it on the rear tail gate where it BELONGS... My first and LAST Cadillac.. AWFUL EXPERIENCE... OH, and the Dealership asked me to give them all 10's on a satisfaction survey that I would get from Cadillac corporate... AND THEN... Cadillac corporate asked me to give them ALL 10's on a INDEPENDENT SURVEY that I would be receiving... AMAZING....
Laughable, the CX5 has 7 inch screen vs 8, 17 inch wheels vs 20, no head-up display, 4 way seats, instead of 8 with memory and massage. No surround camera or parking assist and on and on. It is a nice car, but not even close to the same target market.
$56k for this is crazy. GM crap quality. The XC40 is so much better and cost way less. You could get a larger, faster Mazda CX5 turbo and save $20k, just so many better options at $65k
