It has been years since I saw such goofy, good natured, exceptionally well performed and energetic skits from SNL. The cast is really having a ball and they're not afraid to share it with the audience. This week's episode is the best one in years

😭 Right!? My family has two prays: one for the little kids one for the big kids/adults. There's a six year gap between me and my next youngest siblings and so for a bit there my older sister and I made the transition to the latter shortly before he was born so we were only saying one then he began to talk and comprehend so we had to add in the former. That was 22 years and it's part of the reason why I'm glad I keep missing family dinners for worken wven though I have to live at home, lol.

I have to say how much I appreciate that this did not end the way these types of sketches usually end (someone being racist or some kind of cheap sexual comment). A positive, fun ending was such a change of pace. This is the type of sketch SNL used to do a lot more of many years ago and I'm always glad to see it make a return.
