when i first heard this track at age 19 during my sophomore year in college... i was like... WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!? THIS IS FUCKING INSANE! this is so ahead of its time and hip-hop never got as insane as this and the fact that they're from the ATL at a time when there wasn't a lot of representation in the ATL at the time. it made it more special as I was like "finally, some great local music". for me, outkast, cee-lo, mastodon, and deerhunter is what makes the ATL awesome. yes, our football team is shit. the braves often lose it in the playoffs. the hawks are mediocre. at least we have the music of the ATL and the fucking united.
