Have you heard the newer model jbl 5.1 without the detachable speakers? I wonder how it compares to the 2.1 in Bass and surround. I have the 2.1, but want more surround effect/wide soundstage. More Bass would be nice too. I bought the 2.1 for about 210 usd. The 5.1 is 420 usd. And the 9.1 is 875 usd. For the price, the 2.1 is so good, especially the subwoofer. I'm thinking of maybe getting the partybox 100. I wonder if the Bass is as low and as loud as the 2.1. But I can't test the Bass in the stores here in korea because I think they will get angry.
Currently I Have Partybox 310, Partybox 100, Bar2.1 , Bar 5.1 Immersive If Loudnest , choose Partybox If you want Bass , better choose JBL Bar 2.1 or 5.1 Because Bar 2.1 bass is deeper than Partybox 100, so if u want buy Partybox ,i recommend Partybox310
im owning the bar 9.1 and its powerfull than all partboxes except partybox 1000. partybox 1000 is a monster . for bass partybox is better and for clarity, if you need to see movies then obviousy jbl bar 9.1 is the best. but for listening to music i think they are almost equal but partybox 1000 sound better for listening to music. overall if u just need a monster speaker with amazing bass then go for partybox 1000 otherwise if u need good alternative to a hometheater then go for jbl bar 9.1.
So what are your thoughts on both of these? What about bass with the PB310 on Bass Boost 1 and the 3.1 on 100% bass? What about clarity? What about which one goes louder?
@@AbsoluteFidelity No，PB310 bass is more more deeper than Bar 2.1，Bar 2.1 bass is Powerful，but not deeper as PB310. But sound quality is Bar2.1 more Clarity . If u want deeper bass Soundbar，better go for Bar 3.1 or Bar 5.1，because both of them have 10in Subwoofer

I have partybox 100 and heard jbl 2.1 DB. Both are good. But jbl partybox has no surround sound or 3d sound
