Nice chassis layout! Never seen a 3 axle pumper like this before! Most three axle units are either tillers or heavy walk in/non walk in rescue rigs.

      1) it's a tanker, and 2) when people refer to axles on fire apparatus, only the rear are considered. So it's a tandem- (two) axle tanker.
Tillers are rarely tandem-axle. Also, I find the phrasing of "heavy walk in/non walk in rescue rigs" strange. That's literally the only two kinds you can get. "Heavy rescue" would have worked fine and we still would have known what you're talking about. And in the fire service, there is no "triple axle" because we don't utilize it in specifications. You have single or dual. But I suppose the actual firefighter should go back to his hole while some guy who films trains acts like he knows what's up.

@@Firebuff101 go back to your hole kid. Triple axles refer to 1 up front, and two driven in the rear. Also, *WALK IN/NON WALK IN is what Pierce MFG calls their rescue rigs that are specified for their customers!*

@@nikerailfanningttm9046 yes, I'm well fucking aware of what a walk-in and non-walk-in rescue are. But you don't have to be that specific.
