almost impossible, u have to complete the normal mode and master mode without getting hit and beating both modes 100%, but once u do that, it will start getting built, u do it 3 times, and u get the legendary stick that kills ganon in one hit

I actually always use the Master Sword despite not having it powered up to whittle down the enemy's health until it breaks before finishing it off with a strong weapon to preserve their uses.
I should do this
I kind of like the preupgraded master sword. Its essentially a free rechargable weapon. If you use it over the others on enemies that don't require a strong weapon to take them out. You can stock pile stronger weapons to go take out lynels easier.
Or you can use the upgraded version to kill a lynel
Only negative thing about the sword always glowing blue is I used to use it as an indicator to see if a ruined guardian was alive when it was hard to tell
@@lsandjs9793 if you get noticed the guardian theme will start playing before it has time to lock on cause it still has to wake up so using that time you should be able find it and prepare for a shield deflect

@@lochlanhamilton6020 Don't know about the shooting arrows into a pot, but there's a chest on a smaller island just outside Eventide Island that has 10 arrows in it. If you save the game after opening it, and reload that save (or just use the travel amulet), the chest will have gone back to the water, and it'll still have 10 arrows. You can keep doing this for infinite arrows. Don't have to spend durability on a bow to do it, either, just need magnesis.

Despite the low durability, the double handed Royal weapon is well worth keeping in your inventory for one reason....when you stun a Lynel and then jump on it's back, you use this weapon. It does the most damage as explained in the video (I have a 111 version at the moment). When you're hitting a Lynel while on it's back, the weapon you're using takes ZERO durability damage...none....I've used the same sword to kill 20+ Lynel now. The only cost is the arrows and bow durability to get those face stuns.\
Well worth one of your weapon slots....especially if you get a high attack enchantment.

Got a 107 damage one in the castle and I'd heard that you should always use your most powerful weapon when you're on the back of a lynel, but didn't know this was why.
I have in my house a copy of the 100 damage savage lynel sword, a 52 damage royal guard spear and a 115 damage RG claymore
u can use urbosa fury to stun lynels, but dint use the royal guard claymore because it will slam the ground and use duribility

If the Master Sword is running low on energy, you can teleport to the Lost Woods, enter the Trial of the Sword, then immediately teleport out of the trial. The Master Sword's energy will be maxed out. This process takes way less than 10 minutes.
unless you're in the castle or a divine beast, where you have to leave the place, then you can teleport.

@@jas9102 if you chop off a tree, stasis it while it's still falling, put some wood and flint and ignite a fire directly under the tree and sleep there for a bit, you can bypass the rain problem. That's how I deal with it anyway

I always used the master sword because it kind of has infinite durability once it needs to recharge just wait a bit and you don’t have to search for more weapons
I have around 10 royal guard claymores in my inventory at any time. I use the thunderblade/duplication glitch in the guards room in the castle and it’s practically infinity claymores. I believe the youtuber Kleric has a video where he explains how to do it. So id rank the royal set higher since durability doesnt matter.
Getting that 60 dmg master sword gave me he real feeling of pride and acomplishment

I knew about the arrow trick only cause I searched the internet for ever looking to duplicate my arrows. it works with any multi shot bow like great eagle bow or duplex bow. I used a duplication glitch on a duribiltiy up savage lynel bow and great eagle bow... on my way to 999 arrows:)
There is 1 advantage of bomb parrying - it doesn’t use shield durability so u can stand right next to the bomb and blow it up without breaking ur shield

Not only the powered up Master Sword has a beaming light, it also had that dramatic hit sound effect as if it was powered up against ancient stuff and Ganon. The one that sounds echo-y.

Henry Bolotov Sword = ~2.9x durability. Spear = 3x durability. Crusher = ~ 2.3x durability.
Henry Bolotov, maybe I'm misreading this, but uh, 15 x 3 is 45. Which is way over. 15 x 3.3 is even more over. It'd have to be less than *3 to get 35
It's a long time since I've rewatched this video. IIRC, here are some durability stats for both classes of weapons (ignoring any weapon modifiers):
Savage Lynel Spear (Base): 45
Savage Lynel Sword (Base): 41
Savage Lynel Crusher (Base): 35
Savage Lynel Bow (Base): 45
Royal Guard's Claymore (Base): 15
Royal Guard's Bow (Base): 20
Royal Guard's Spear (Base): 15
Royal Guard's Sword (Base): 14.
So based on these stats, we have:
1. Savage Lynel Spear is exactly 3 times more durable than Royal Guard's Spear,
2. Savage Lynel Sword is ~2.93 times more durable than Royal Guard's Sword,
3. Savage Lynel Bow is exactly 2.25 times more durable than Royal Guard's Bow, and lastly
4. Savage Lynel Crusher is ~2.33 times more durable than Royal Guard's Claymore.
I usually keep 4 Savage Lynel Bows, Great Eagle Bow, Royal Bow, Ancient Bow, and Royal Guard's Bow in my inventory for a minimum of 440 total durability points.

Peter O'Malley but he said at least and 35 is smaller than 45 which means he is saying that approx the lynel weopens are threes times better durability than royal gaurd.
SO glad to see Bombs on this list! They absolutely are OP and you should use them as much as possible. You should be using them on any and all one hit kill enemies, and for knocking down trees and turning them into wood.
Once you upgrade them they also become a very potent hunting tool. You should always use them to kill wildlife as you can kill groups of Wolves, Birds, Fish, Etc with them. Just sneak up, throw a Bomb and collect all the meaty goodness! Then cook the meat 5 at a time and sell for huge profits!
This is the best way to naturally make money in the game as you progress. I literally never have to sell a single thing in any of my playthrus by simply cooking & selling the meat I get while traveling. Never pass up an opportunity for easy hunting kills with bombs. And make sure to wear the Stealth Armor set from Kakariko to make hunting a LOT easier.

I don't know why but I am still running away from Lynels even though I have completed 3 divine beasts, gotten the Master Sword and gotten the Hylian Sheild. I guess i will have to try beating a Lynel once ive beaten Ganon. Lol
Be sure to learn how to aim for their face. Headshots can allow you to hop on their back and use the most powerful weapons while the weapon durability goes down a bit slower.

I went to my last save from 1 year ago
When I was killing enemies, master sword, divine beasts
It then turned night. I was trying to get another shine. Then a Keese came
I killed it. And, once I was picking up it’s items. The wings had ???
Like wth? I never killed a keese? I had the master sword and divine beasts..
Also with ANY ancient / guardian weapons, when attacking guardian based enemy (including Calamity Ganon and Blights) there is a 1.2 * bonus on top of the normal 1.8* damage you get from ancient proficiency bonus for a total of 2.0 * to all guardians , that stacked with an attack up potion *3 will further increase the damage by 1.5* for 2.5* your weapons normal damage. So your are consistently getting 2.5* your normal damage against any and ALL guardian type enemies and 2.3* against anything else, with ANY ancient / guardian weapon. Also, for ANY melee weapons ONLY, on horse back or motorcycle (depending on your horse stats) WHILE charging, you will get ~2.5 damage (please confirm, I used a horse w/ top speed) so, essentially, with any MELEE ancient / guardian weapon on horse back, you will get ~5.0 * the damage to any guardian based enemy and ~4.8* against anything else. Also, with ANY MELEE weapon as well, WHILE sneak striking (this with not work on Guardians nor Lynels because that is not an option on them), you will deal 8.0* the damage of that of your weapon, addition 2.3* damage wile having ancient proficiency bonus, attack up *3 via potion, and a(n) Ancient / Guardian MELEE weapon of your choice, so you will effectively do a total of 10.3* the damage to any unwary enemy, while meeting all of the listed criteria (Note: this will be hard to pull off and little use because you have to sacrifice sneak up boosts in order to do this, unless you frequently change armor, DURING the sneak strike, but WITH a high enough base damage, this is an instant kill to all enemies affected, including golden Moblins) This is all current knowledge as of 6/4/18, this may be subjugated to change in the future. TheLegendOfTat you can beat Ganon with only the weapons in his castle. The only way his fight could be difficult is if you didn’t do the divine beast, but even then people finish the game in 40 min
@@inevitablesound7465 I love that game but I do find the difficulty of the bosses dissapointing. I mean my first time doing Master Mode, I thought the Divine Beasts would be hell, turns out a large group of white moblins cause me more problems then all of the divine beasts and their bosses

Before the DLC I used the master sword the break rocks and cut trees more than using it on enemies. After the DLC it’s my main weapon.
The lynel bow does damage for each arrow so lets say that you have one with 50 attack thath means that if you hit with all three you do 150 damage.

I remember when that was an actual speedrun strategy in Ocarina of Time
even without finishing the trial of the sword (which is near impossible in master mode), the master sword isnt that bad a weapon. for a weapon that never leaves your inventory, 30 base power is nothing to scoff at. true, there are stronger weapons, but there are also weaker weapons. it isnt an unbreaking stick, more an unbreaking knights sword with ranged powers at full health. then there are all the benefits that come with being a short sword class weapon; it can be used with a shield, it has quickspin for knock back and stun long enough to start a new combo (against any common enemy), and doesnt leave you open to frontal attacks when used. (spears can be attacked from most sides except directly in front, and heavy weapons have long delays that can be punishing if you fail to hit.)
Trial of the sword isn't impossible in master mode. What part are you stuck on? Actually, have you even attempted it yet? The beginning trials is always the hardest, and it gets easier after that. Especially beginner trials floor 10. Watch out for that floor! (It took me at least 5 times before I finally beat it).

I've been trying to beat floor 10 in Master Mode every night for 2 months. I know it can be done, I see it can be done, but I am apparently ungifted in some huge way when it comes to floor 10.
i had spent quite a bit of time trying to beat master mode trial of the sword, but master early floors are ridiculously punishing. i could likely beat it if i spent a day trying, but at this point, im also a little rusty, and i cant use the octorock cheat :P. i dont much fear the later trials, but the thunder zone was already a pain in normal... early game weapons are difficult to beat regen-ing blue bokos, and should i finally beat (or re-beat) the forest, the ocean biome has several floors with limited ground to stand on, no zora outfit for water combat (as suck-y as it is, it does provide options), and some electric enemies to deal with in the early water floors. bombs become vital for the forest, but have splash damage that could kill you if you arnt careful, which is bound to happen when being chased by a horde of enemies for long periods of time. if im going to beat master trial of the sword, i need to make sure i am fully prepared with 120 shrines and the right buffs, but i havent played in a while and would have preferred having the full powered master sword for more than just ganon or dlc pack 2 which i can easily beat without it.
DId you try the chain sneakstrike technique? Take out the blue lizalfos QUICKLY, then sneak over to one of the silver lizalfos, shoot an arrow in front of it to distract it, then sneak behind it and sneakstrike. Then walk (NOT run, if you run, you will alert the other lizalfos) to the opposite side. The lizalfos will stand up and 'briefly' see you (but they don't actually "see" you, despite you being directly in front of it) then turn its back towards you. Do another sneakstrike. Repeat until it's dead. Do the same with the other one. Just be sure to not knock them into the water. Even up to today, that floor gave me nightmares.
By the way, I recommend that you parry bombs when you stand next to them. As far as I know, the Hylian Shield and the Daybreaker are the only shields in the game that can withstand a blow from the Bomb+. I tried shielding myself with a Traveler's Shield in Trial of the Sword and it broke on impact. It might have been because Traveler's Shields aren't very durable, but I suggest that you parry bombs if you have a shield with a durability less than 40.
Yea I tested this with a max guard up Savage Lynel Shield and it always breaks any shield in one hit (except the two you mentioned, idk how many day breaker can take but my Hylian Shield took 18 before breaking), which means that a bomb+ is more destructive than a Golden Lynel with a max power Savage Lynel Crusher.

I have a Royal Guard Claymore with the max 116.
This thing is my lynel slayer, sense I only mount the lynels to do damage. Mounting the lynels doesn't wear down your weapon's durability, so I get pretty good use out of the Royal Guard Claymore! As far as the game's concerned, my claymore is _still_ brand new.
Since I got my radiant armor maxed out, I always pick up bone weapons to check their stats. I got a Dragonbone club the other day with an Attack bonus +18. Got another one with a durability up but I kept it. You can do major damage with those with the radiant set, and Phantom Ganon set.
for an arrow glitch that is easy, just go to the korok forest entrance where there is a flame and just keep shooting at it with a bow whilst stood next to it with a multi shot bow. rinse and repeat.
for a infinite ancient parts glitch just go to near the gerudo desert and to the right of the modulga (I think it's called) there is a mountain sort of thing with a little lake and 2 destroyed guardians (I forgot the name of the place), use something to lift the legless one until it drops something you want (the best way to do it is save next to it then lift it and if it doesn't drop what you want then reload and keep doing that until you get what you want) the next step is get something magnetic and push it towards the gerudo town then when there is a random lag spike then it will start dropping a bunch of ancient items from the bottom then from there just keep collecting and also make sure not to open any menu or push it too far or else it will crash your game. once you have collected enough or whatever then use the magnetic item to push it back over so the top is at the top and blah blah blah so it stops the glitch then you are free to do anything.
The best thing to do it with is ancient cores since you can get 79,920 rupees from 999 but I'm not sure if the giant ancient cores will drop from the guardians I forgot.
One major thing that isn't mentioned here is just how OP Urbosa's Fury is. To put things in perspective, it can kill red and blue Hinoxes in one attack, as well as Stone Taluses (though I don't recommend that, as hitting the weak point with a two-handed weapon will drop extra gems). I know it isn't technically a weapon and can be used with any melee weapon, but it's still good to know.

I made a challenge for this game. My challenge is that after the Great Platuea on Master Mode drop all your weapons, bows, shield and uncooked food and head to Hyrule Castle, there you can grab the weapons and food you need and kill EVERY enemy at the Castle.
RULES
You DO have to kill Ganon and the blights-
You CANNOT grab anything outside of the Castle clothes/weapons/ ect-

I always used the master sword before the dlc because i got too attached to my other weapons like high powered royal guards weapons, and others that were about to break

Don't use royal guard weapons, for the simple fact of how low they're durability is.

I really wish the fully upgraded master sword didnt break. Or that you didnt have to break it for it to recharge. Something like the elemental weapons. Of course, after a few seconds it wouldn't repair all the way.

From a durability up twilight bow you can get 145 shots

No real qualms with any of those entries, except for the fact that you didn't include elemental weapons in there, or the ancient shield.
Elemental weapons: OHKO enemies with elemental weaknesses, stun lock with frost or shock, huge durability, utility with environmental interaction and climate management, and more! There's no way I'm running around without at least 1 weapon of each element as end game approaches.
Ancient shield: to deal with guardians, taking it from needing a perfect block or endless hacking away at them to just "lock onto them and wait for them to kill themselves with zero risk and zero durability loss" is crazy OP. Technically not a weapon, still warrants inclusion.
