I think the Liang-Petrovic is A LOT closer than the odds suggest. Liang's cardio is definitely a concern, but its not nearly as bad as people think it is. She has gassed REALLY bad before and I think that sticks in peoples heads, but its not like she does that every fight, and it did seem like she had worked on it in her subsequent fights. As far as the skills go, Liang is nothing special in the grappling, but she has a VERY dangerous armbar and shes not a fish out of water or anything and her striking is sloppy asf, but its not ineffective, while Petrovic is a little more even-keel and well rounded, but she is pretty unimpressive across the board as well tbh, her grappling is decent, but doesnt seem particularly special and she has a tendency to lose positions and her striking is not sloppy, but pretty low level. Liang is 0-3 and had a lot of fluff on her pre-UFC record, but she did at least have a few decent wins and a bunch of lesser wins pre-UFC and she did have some very good moments (and near finishes) in her UFC fights, Petrovic is pretty much completely unproven and she got her ass beat in her debut by Luana Carolina. Should be a super low level fight tbh, but I gotta take the dog shot on Liang at these odds.

I don’t mind you taking a shot on the dog in this situation, but ive been getting roasted for picking massive underdogs when the line is wide in my opinion when they lose. 😂
Straight picking, gotta take Petrovic. Taking a shot on Liang isn’t bad at all though. She could pull off a huge upset here.

randomly came across this channel trying to get more background on Diniz lane realistically should try and get this to the ground. He could clip him for sure but best path to victory is strike for a few minutes enough to "sell" that he isnt going to grapple and mix TD in timed well. I am picking Diniz KO R1-R2 but this is a pass for me betting wise.

Yeah it’s 💯 a pass fight. Just don’t know enough about Diniz at this point. I have very little action on this card.
Why do I get nervous when I’m on the same side as everyone and more confident when I’m alone? I guess it makes it that much sweeter when Lipski wins, and if she loses at least I’m not anxious all week 😆
Wish I’d bet both at plus money but I missed this one. I really like Lipski but man Silva is so slick on the mat. It’s such a pass fight for me.
I proactive hedge bet Karine at +115 (had her at +125 on a parlay that died 😕), started loading Lipski at +130.
Karine could totally big-sister if she gets a hold of Lipski, but I feel that's her only path and not as likely as people think: everyone she's fought has stood near striking or clinched, none were fast moving and evasive. Lipski's TDD is based on not getting grabbed, and if fighters with good TDs can't grab her, I'm not sure how successful trying to hug her will be. While Karine’s striking's improving, I don't think it's remotely close to Lipski (some people saying it's even 😱). Karine can crack, but Lipski's lack of head movement won't matter when her body moves her 2 feet outta the way.
Also think with the improvements we’ve seen with Lipski, we haven’t seen her on her back, and she’s going to surprise us one day with how much that’s improved too…
@pinkfreud13 Lipski has looked fantastic as of late! Girl has clearly been putting in work. She wins this and it’s really going to show. She’s looked like a whole new fighter
Listening to her over the years, I feel she's highly impacted by confidence. My biggest fear is that if she loses this fight it impacts her next one 🙁
@pinkfreud13 confidence is absolutely necessary for a fighter. If they have any doubt it will show in their fight
I am thinking Mann. She was +500 in the debut and lost as most big dogs do. She has all the positives that you mention and she can win this.

Two things about the first matchup:
I noticed Maheshate has shown really bad leg kick defence in his recent fights, which could be a huge problem here
Benitez did actually get one REALLY nice TD in his most recent win
That being said, I am really worried about him slowing down due to his age and experience, should be an interesting fight
Agree I feel like Benitez is gonna chop him down with kicks and that’s where he will have the advantage
I can’t bet Mahashate as a big favorite, but him being the much younger fighter with KO power, I’ve got to take him.
Totally agree about the Lane-Diniz fight, hard to call and probably just depends on if the tds come and how they go. I really like Lane, since I'm a Lions fan and I love his mindset, but Diniz is a LEGIT kickboxer with STUPID power, but I did hear Lane imply in an interview that hes looking to show off his grappling this fight, and if he does I think hes got a solid chance.
Certainly has a solid chance. There are way too many unknowns in this one to feel good about. Diniz only has 6 pro MMA fights after all.
