Biscout whatever Agyekum is saying a 100% true. I know him personally and we’re all in the army. He’s a friend n colleague of mine. We got enlisted same year but I was given infantry. I was also asked to pay bribe of 5000ghc bribe to pass their selection so I decided to come serve in the British Army, and I’m so proud to say I never regretted making that decision. The British Army has been so good to me, helping me achieve my dream. I wish I could share my story too. The Bribes in Ghana is too much.
Hmmm it's never easy oo officer I got enlisted in 2021 till now I've not even been called to do my medicals and you can not imagine the huge amount of money that my old unemployed parents have invested into this whole thing hoping that I'll someday become a soldier so that I can also help my younger siblings out with their careers. Sometimes my parents have to apply for loan with the hope that this whole thing will succeed so that I can help repay the loan and also help them cater for the family but all their efforts have yeilded no fruits. I'm now in the the house not knowing what to do
We can never fight corruption in Ghana, if we continue to extort money from the citizens who wants to serve their nation,.....just look at how much the political parties are charging their candidates who wants to be the flag bearer and other roles in the parties, what do you think will happen when they're voted in power?? 😢

I heard it too cos they had sickle cell issues which was not detected on time hmm...the army rules changed with this sc and covid came making commonwealth selection difficult. We were part of that 2019 cmw intake from Ghana which wasn't easy bruv you're saying the truth stay safe SAPPER.
