    Can you explain why disconnecting the battery messes up idle memory? I’ve disconnected my battery on my rav to reset a gas cap code and never had issues with stalls.

      Because throttle is electrical it will loose its idle position

    So isn’t disconnecting the battery is the first thing you do on starter and alternator replacement?? It’s a safety hazard

      Yes I do explain that however DIYrs at home wouldn’t know why their car stall out once they do that cuz loss of idle memory

    You could have disconnected the battery

    It's not a big deal to re learn idle memory
