Mike and Karen, I have been faithfully been watching you on U-tube for years. My wife and I honeymooned in Gatlinburg in August 25th, 1973. We continued trips there 2 to 3 times a year. We always came back to celebrate our Anniversary. I lost my wife, Jill, to cancer on September the 3rd, 2020. I have continued coming back up to Gatlinburg for our Anniversary for the last 3 years. I will continue this as long as God will allow me to. We were happily married for 47 years. I was so thankful that I was able to bring her back here for our 47th anniversary before losing her. We were starry-eyed teenagers when we eloped to Tennessee 62 years ago. Nowadays at age 80 God has blessed us with two adult children, four adult grandchildren, and three energetic great-grandsons. We wouldn't have made it this far without Christ at the center of our lives. Trials come and go, but His faithfulness always endures. Two years ago we celebrated our 60th with a special Renewal of Vows at our church in Louisville, including family, special friends, and a nostalgic video set to Moon River ("our song" when we were dating). We still keep Fridays open for Date Night -- keeps the fire burning! 😊 ✝️

We’ve been married 53 wonderful years. We were High School sweethearts and we still get goosebumps over each other yet to this day. We renewed our vows on our 50th year anniversary. We celebrated with our 2 sons at a beautiful Dollywood cabin. We feel God has blessed us.
We were married in 1979 and we did our wedding renewal for our 30th anniversary 2009. We will be celebrating our 44th anniversary in 2024. The reason why we renewed our vows at our 30th is my dad died before they reached their 50th. My husband parents had a 50th wedding anniversary but his mom had dementia and her memory was fading. There is never a guarantee how long we are together so enjoy each other now.
I met my love in Church and we will be married 22 years next week. My wife has Parkinson’s and I am her caregiver. I will always be here for her. I tell people I am devoted to her because I take my vows seriously . “For sickness and health” means a lot to me ❤️❤️
We have been married 62 years. Unfortunately my husband now has Alzheimer’s, so I am terrified of what lies ahead. They say the Lord doesn’t give you more than you can handle. We used to love camping in the Smokies which is one reason I love your videos. Winston makes me smile.

'the rest of the story'...and became a widower. We met at our 50th HS class reunion in 2022, but no fireworks that night. He lived in KY since '73. We didn't know each other in school, but only lived about 3 blocks from one another, our Jr. & Sr. years. It took 50 years, but God's plan brought us together! My wife and met back in high school in 1979. Went our separate ways but I found her on F.B. in 2012 and married in 2013 at age 50. It will be 11 yrs this August. Retireing in April and moving to Wytheville Va May 1st. Have a page full of campgrounds to visit(thanks to you two) with our travel trailer. Hope to meet you two one day.

We've been married this June for 32 years with two adault kids. We were married on June 27, 1992, in virgina. We renewed our 25th in Virgina on June 27, 2017. My husband surprise me with the ceremony with our 2 kids. Also, we had the same preacher that married us.
August 1 will be 43 years of marriage for us. We have 2 sons, a daughter, 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Our honeymoon was in the Smokies and we love going back and try to make it once a year.

My husband and I were able to celebrate our 23 wedding anniversary. 3 weeks later, he passed away. I not only lost my husband but he was also my best friend.
