Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. To me, Aubrey Plaza seems so mischievious. It's not so much that she appears to be keeping a secret, she looks like she has just done something sneaky or she's about to. She's got a beautiful smile and she's quite funny. I always enjoy her interviews.

Aubrey Plaza says that having prepared questions makes her uncomfortable, so she acts really weird when they come up. I think the better hosts quickly decide that they aren't going to work. There's a letterman interview where he says 'so what do you want to talk about?'

Funny that I suggested that she should've done Craig on a popular video of her talking of her aversion to talk shows, and a lot of people agreed with me. Maybe he took my advice and tried to adapt, eh? Still, I can't help but wish it was actually Craig, being she never did his show. Can't beat that Scottish wit and "Rat Pack style masculinity, you're very at ease; women will find you very attractive while men will think you're a good guy" as Russell Brand described him.

You don't know he's gay. I'm straight and I think it's weird that I have a crush on her. Have you listened to some of her stories? Have you looked at her eyes? The woman is absolutely crazy. And, yet, so irresistible.
I've listened to all of her stories and she's not crazy at all. She's awkward and uncomfortable in these sorts of settings. She's much more "normal" and relaxed when she's in situations that she feels comfortable in.

She does an interview with Chris Pratt where they are talking about the show Parks and Rec, which had filmed it´s last season, and Chris said he was going to miss it/them, and she started tearing up, but tried to hide it with stretches.
She has very deep emotions I think, but she is also rather hidden/self protective and private, and wears a mask much of the time.
This is the first time I've seen Aubrey been herself in an interview... Normally, she's very awkward and says non-sense things to make the public laugh, but here you can see her just having a conversation. I guess is because of Stephen's charisma and warmness, he's a very good host/interviewer.
I always thought she said the weird shit to make herself laugh. Either way - fine by me , she's gold .

Everyone is mistaking 'awkward' for quirkiness. Aubrey Plaza has never struck me as awkward. Awkward means as defined by Merriam Webster: lacking social grace and assurance. I see her as a charming young woman confident enough to be herself. People who are not self-assured are more likely to force a persona of confidence rather than just relax into their true self. This whole 'awkward' business is getting really old! Rant over!
