North Port man loses leg after motorcycle accident

A community is rallying around a man lucky to still be alive.
Doctors had to amputate 27-year-old Luis Zubiaga's leg after he crashed his motorcycle on Saturday in North Port.
"If things didn't happen the way they did, we wouldn't be here with him right now," Odaliz Kearney said.

I was there at the scene of the accident. I had said hello to him and then witnessed his accident. I ride too so it stuck with me. I’m so happy he’s alive and doing well.

i was in the area where this happened i was so confused on what was going on, it was near the kia dealership towards north port, absolutely crazy scene. very fortunate to be alive
