@@kermitfroggie5334 Excuse me. I researched the topic nation wide four years ago and wrote a 30-some page synopsis for the local government I was employed by. Some people are salvageable they are the ones who are down and out on their luck, rent money, and job situation, but they have work skills and self-respect. They are typically families and can get back on their feet. Another large segment, the chronically homeless, don’t want help and don’t even want to sleep in a homeless shelter. They want to pitch a tent wherever, take drugs, trash their surroundings, and defecate whenever, panhandle and intimidate passers-by and basically just scrape by. We can thank Reagan that there are no mental facilities anymore to help them. This very large sub classification consist of drug and alcohol addicts, the mentally unstable, veterans with PTSD and violent personalities. Some have work skills but many do not. I’ve forgotten the exact number, but it was well over 20%, probably more like 30 or 40% of all homeless people, by the time you count the ones who will sleep in a homeless shelter, but will not look for work or ever become productive members of society again. Local governments nationwide have initiated programs to give them a secure place to stay, computer skills, education, clothing, anything anyone could need to make it out. Most programs have closed down in abject failure.

The only way to do something is pick them up and put them in job labors camps and maybe they’ll think twice before being homeless it’s crazy how I’m some 3rd world countries they don’t have this issues Americans have a drug problem an no one wants to work everywhere I go I see now hiring maybe that’s why they let in all these migrants because they are filling in the gaps of those jobs no one takes !!!!

They build these giant homes you've think godzillas living in there. What a wast of material. How many trees they have to cut to make a castle for one or 2 people to live there. Try to build or diy a mini shed house they won't allow in vegas or pretty much anywhere.

It’s a huge epedemic in all over Navada yet the state of Navada don’t give two shi**, they continue to sale extra extra extra small homes to people in Vegas. If the people knew how much they are getting ripped off buying Vegas homes, I’m telling you they would be pissed . I mean they are getting robbed so much it is sad.

@@sneksteppy Billionaires like Musk and Bezos are signs of a broken system. In a functioning system, the basic needs of all are met and the wealth gap has been bridged with fair wages for all. These wealth sucking tycoons need to be regulated back into control, today's economic system overwhelmingly favors the wealthy and hinders the working class. The system that created this massive wealth gap is undeniably broken and in need of radical repair. One of the most basic first steps is to replace the wealth that has been ill-gotten in a broken system is to take it back and put it where it matters. Shareholders don't contribute to anything but the problem. With a strong middle class there is less poverty and subsequent homelessness. So yes, tax the rich, forget about shareholders, invest in workers, get a strong middle class thriving and the social issues will begin to fall in place without government assistance but in the mean time government intervention is required and it can start by taxing the rich and rerouting the wealth back to those that create the wealth. Or would you prefer a hyper-capitalist oligarchy with an authoritarian dictator like Russia? Because that's the direction this country is heading to.
