Don't forget that you can upload any video that is less than 60 seconds in the browser on your laptop/desktop as well and make it a short. you don't need to always upload them from the mobile app. and make sure you add #shorts in the description so youtube knows to find that video when its looking for shorts

Is there a way to record a two person podcast (both people at the same table) with two separate iPhones and make it into the “two person” remote interview style layout with Riverside?

if you are able to use the riverside app on both phones, you could potentially just log into the app on the second phone and then you should be able to use it as a second camera angle, meaning both iphones can be connected to the call. You can still use both seperately but you just have to make sure that the audio is turned off on the second phone so you dont get feedback. If you are able to use a laptop as well you could have the laptop for one video feed.. and then like I mentioned just log into the app on the other phones you want to use for other angles. hope this helps

It would be great if there was an option to drag the view when you zoom in to the different ratios. My podcast often has two of us in a single camera view so the clips options don't work. If I could choose the ratio but drag the view right or left it could work.

Now for a few views from an avid CZcams viewer.
Shorts suck. They almost never give any useful information. It might be the new profit model for CZcams, not likely CZcams producers, but nnote how many people are searchig for ways to turn them off.
The moment I feel the purpose of the video is to waste my time so the producer can make more money, I bail. If I am subscribed, I unsubscribe. Time is life. If you don't value my time/life, why should I care about your success.
One of the fastest ways to lose me as a viewer or subscriber, is to be the "expert" on something you have never done before or tell me about a product when if the first time you have even opened the box. You are an unreliable messenger. I don't trust you or what you have to say.
Another way is to look like you don't know what you are doing. Being unorganized, going on long rambles or rants about something unrelated to the subject of the video, or not having the materials you need at hand when explaining something, or not editing your video.
Another way is to have your cat's ass in my face, unless it's a video on cat assholes 😁.
I will cut a content provider some slack for a while. But if it feels like I am just a meal ticket, I dump them. I pay money for CZcams. I don't want to pay again with producers who drain my life away by wasting my time.
