I have a 70's model on top of a Bassman 412 trapezoid cab and that joker is BIG -B- LOUD! I jump the channels with a short cord to get every drop of tone. The loudest amp I have is a 60s Ampeg VT 22. The Ampeg has 11 tubes, 212s, and is WAY too loud for indoor use. Cool vid, Brother.
Those speakers are characterized by Fender as the “heavy duty special design” speakers. There were a huge variety of different OEM speakers that they stuck in those over those few years under that name. I have a drip edge ‘68 big box 2x15 cab that has Eminence speakers labeled as such.
I use a parts- caster telecaster on my CZcams channel and the body looks alot like mine which is a double bound rosewood body. Couldn't tell if yours was rosewood or black. Thanks for another cool amp loving video!
I'm fairly sure you had it backwards, I believe the band master has a solid state rectifier, and the super has a tube rectifier, bandmaster has a 4-ohm tap on the output transformer, super has a 2 ohm tap, which is similar to a Tweed bassman, but the bandmaster transformer is more similar to a black or silver face bassman. Ps, I recommend wearing a full set of pants in future videos, in public,... really at all times, while in line of sight of other human beings.
Because I have taken this amp apart and inspected the components I'm confident in my description of the rectifier and transformer. & my gams are impeachable. You're 0/3 but I think you can really turn things around in the second half.
@@loudartgearsupply9860 The super reverb famously has a tube rectifier. And the blackface bandmasters have solid state rectifiers, I assumed the TFL silver face was the same, looking at the schematic it does indeed have a tube rectifier. I'm not a random guy, I own an amp company.
@@siriplaydopethrone8973 You could call me a random amp builder but not a random guy. It's weird that people seem to think anyone that's leaving a comment on CZcams is somehow automatically a nobody, the funny part is they don't realize what they're saying about themselves.
Loved and Subscribed

Big Amps for Dads sounds like a magazine that would put someone in the doghouse.

@@taggmanibanezThe fact is that you indeed ARE a random guy and should wear some jorts.

@@taggmanibanez Oh god the ego on you :D We are all nobodies. Now go get ya some new fancy jorts and build an amp.
