In black it’s ‘just another’ black bike. Now, in white…that’s insane!

      I COMPLETELY agree.

That’s why “if” you buy a black bike, you make it your own… any bike really!!! If you leave it like it is, you’re just another guy on a black bike….

@@SouthernRG that is true of most bikes but not a $43,000 CVO

I never liked the Road Glide, but the shark nose fairing of the 2023 Road Glide was still something special with speedometer and tach mounted on the handlebar. The 2024 RG looks like an Indian. I waited to see the 2024 touring models at the dealer, but then decided to go for a 2023 Fast Johnny Street Glide. I just like the classic batwing fairing, and the new ones are just not the same.

I test rode one, and it was my favorite bike out of the Harleys that I rode. The Street Glide CVO had a much smother motor, but the CVO st was much more fun to ride.

Can you explain in more detail how to add a detachable tour pack or sissy bar to the CVO ST?

HD listened, for once. I’m still sour how HD handled the numerous issues on the 06/07 model year bikes. Picking and choosing recalls when they knew EVERY SINGLE BIKE had the same issues. They let their customers hold their bag over and over again.
Instead of giving Harley the bag I’ve tucked away for the last 14 years, I chose to drop $30k on parts and tools to rebuild my DYNA the way it should have came from the factory.
I’ll drop $45k on a new bike immediately once these conditions are met.
1.) Send me a new Starter for my 07 DYNA. HD doesn’t produce wheels for my bike more, no dealer could help. so I had to figure it out myself. Support your product.
2.) Provide options. That seat sucks. Ugly as shit. partner with la pera and keep options in stock you the customer can ride home comfortably.
3.) Stop branding Ohlins shocks & Brembo calipers as Harley. HD brakes and suspension has always been trash, own it. Leave that up to the rear players and quit putting your logo on everything from amplifiers to in helmet speaker pads. It’s a waste of valuable R&D. You don’t see Honda slapping their logo on Showa forks.
    4.) Black with orange pinstripe.
    Goodbye

IMHO it’s the holy Grail for motor company in the 24 model year!

The lack of VVT on the CVOST is due to weight.

What underlying factors make a biker sell his new 2024 HD?

  • @dbbrumley

Cutting out VVT shaved off 6lbs.

I feel the same way. The carbon fiber parts don’t look like carbon fiber. They look like molded plastic which looks cheap as hell. Doesn’t belong on the top of the line model.

i do not like the carbon fiber on this bike. looks stupid. otherwise it looks great. the inverted forks and better shocks should be stock on all bikes period!!! bullshit they are not. for the price we pay. and the flywheel needs to be true and balanced!!! sick of the lack from harley !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BLACK IS THE WAY TO GO BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR GOING TO BE SPEEDING EVERY WHERE WITH THE CVO ST AND YOU DONT WANT TO STAND OUT WITH THW WHITE BIKE BUT RATHER LOOK LIKE ANOTHER BLACK BIKE.

All that carbon fiber is trash. Its an ugly print.
