HULLOOOO! part of ~adulting~ is learning when to not adult and just let yourself live and heal :,) so for today's lofting with linh, I'm taking y'all along some self-care activities I did over the course of two-ish weeks. I am a firm believer in practicing rest and self-care regularly rather than sporadically; it is important to integrate time to focus on your passions and hobbies, and it's far more sustainable for your well-being. Such an important message at the end. Taking time for and care of yourself should not be about increasing productivity and work efficiency. Time for yourself is not prepping for the next work day. Its for yourself.
This is something I'm currently learning and trying to integrate into my mindset. I'm pretty burnt out and I think centering everything I do around productivity and efficiency is one driver of burnout and low energy. This is my life. I don't live to work. I live to live. Working is enabling me to live in an apartment and to eat. Working should be fun and meaningful, yes, but it is not my identity and not my entire life, just a part of it.

i'm going into my senior year and I felt the exact same way last year. don't worry at all! remember that the easiest way to waste time is to stress about a lack of it. you got this and try to take some time to go for a walk or journal or whatever you do to decompress
hey! i’m going into my senior year rn and tbh junior year was the BEST year of my life i’ve ever had. of course it was often stressful and hectic but i also met so many important ppl in my life and grew more as a person than i ever thought i would. try to approach the unknown from a place of excitement rather than a place of fear. you 100% got this!
I promise you Junior year is only stressful because of the ACT/SAT test, literally other than that its like any other year!! It'll be alright :-)
this is exactly what I needed! burnout is so real as a college student even in the summer so remembering self-care is so essential. I've had a hard time with that myself lately. thanks for the reminder linh!

Thank you for mentioning the part about using a skins mask to boost productivity - you definitely expressed how I have thought about it for a long time - just recently started following your channel and you’re awesome and genuine - no, a mask, spa day, or new facial cleanser will not make you 10% more harder of a worker but dammit, they are great and that’s the point - they are meant to make you feel good and treat yourself better - thanks for making that point
