    I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
    Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

    this is so great! I love that you show all the details and don't skip stuff. It would be great if there were still images linked somewhere of the various labels which you can't read here like on the capacitors and fan motor. I'm particularly interested in that fan motor and how it might be used for other things as well. And also how we might start building supply chains where some people take apart microwaves and build the magentron/fan/power assembly and then pass those units off to other people who can weld it all together. I say this because as an electronics person I feel like I can follow what you're doing here and could copy it, but I don't have a welder. Lots of welders don't know electronics. So if we can build that bridge between the two skill sets/tool sets I think we'll get more people to do the things.

      @@naturejab shouldn’t have wrecked the fan on that blower motor because it would make a great stock cooler if your overclocking a cpu

    Motor capacitors are one place where you don't have to worry about stored charge, since they are always connected across a motor winding and loose their charge immediately.
    Really curious about this reactor though, gonna check your other vids.

    Yes; you DO need to make a whole new video as a follow up to this, because you never showed this whole setup in action, and exactly what it does! (other than obviously produce dangerous to your health microwave radiation that is now completely uncontained by the microwave's original cooking chamber and waveguide...)

      Microwave radiation is non ionizing radiation. Meaning it does not cause cancer or any other adverse health condition.

      @@Quirites_Man I know,, the use of the term "radiation" is unfortunate as it is associated with nuclear reactions inaccurately by the averag public. The radiation in a cast iron "radiator" is all about the radiation of heat..the sun radiates too,,,on many spectrums... All the microwave oven does is resonate with the frequency of water causing the molecules to absorbe the "radiation" turning the electrical input power into heated food or water that contained water.
      The worse you can get out of a microwave device is to burn you through heating up your own water in your skin.. And most people will pull away from that... Granted may not be in time... Also the "radiation" is lost in the air at certain distances.. The cabinet in an oven keeps the radiation contained and concentrated by the fact it's grounded in relationship to the magnetron. Thus why puting tin foil causes sparks to the cabnet..it directs electrical energy through the foil to "spark" over to the cabinet...correct me if I'm wrong here

These devices are specifically designed to measure the strength and intensity of RF radiation emitted by various sources, including microwave devices. They typically provide real-time measurements, allowing you to assess the levels of radiation in your surroundings.
      When selecting an RF meter or EMF detector, look for one that covers the frequency range around 2.5 GHz, as this is the frequency of magnetrons. Make sure to choose a reputable and calibrated device to ensure accurate readings.

    @ NatureJab: SHOES !! Wear shoes !! You talk about the sharp edges of the sheet metal..... it slices and dices feet also !! Dropped sheet metal screws stuck in the bottom of your are no fun ! (trust me on this one - experience !). Also, while new microwaves don't weigh much.... you don't want to drop them, or any of their components on bare feet (Again, ask me how I know). All those pointy corners and sharp edges make quick and bloody holes in bare feet.
    Keep doing what you're doing, BUT..... safely !!

    Dude, this looks just like my old microwave that's sitting in my shop. I got a far as taken the outside tin off, but haven't gone any farther. I'm a farmer in haying season, while trying to repair my barn. It's in a sorry state.

    that's scary shit man, will leave you to do that shiz. cannot quite understand something, microwaves are metal casted and you are not supposed to put metal in a micro wave, but also your burner drum is metal. also does the magnetron give residual microwaves out of the back of device as that is un-cased in your videos? so so so many questions gr8t vid
