Is there an advantage to the weighted hook? Since it’s your preference what is the advantage you see?😊
For me, I think most people just like lures and things that have worked for them before and often that just means they have thrown it more often. I don't want to sit here and say it works because this because at the end of the day, being at the right place at the right time is the most important haha.
But, my personal reasoning is i just like how it sinks faster and I can sort of imitate a shrimp movement better with it if i see a black drum.
I think snook like a weightless better, i have had better luck on redfish and black drum with weighted!
