I purchased the Ryobi kit with the impact driver and for $229 with what they give you I am a happy camper. Looking forward to diving deeper into their vast array of other tools that all use the same batteries. Next up for me is their inflator.

I just bought the Kobalt 5 piece xtr kit at Lowe's for $ 349. That's a great price for anyone who is interested. Only used it a little, but I like it. Seems to have good power.

Absolutely, I also grabbed the same kit, but mine was 5$$.... great deal for top of the line performance!

For most of us , the homeowner grade tools are just fine and will last many years. I have a wall full of kobalt tools and I am extremely satisfied with their value and performance. I arrived at this point due to the high cost of replacing dead Dewalt batteries. I can buy almost three Kobalt batteries for the price of just one Dewalt battery for my old ...now useless...Dewalt tools. Also , the XTR Kobalt tools are their upper line and unless the Ryobi tool was similarly placed, that means that it did very well indeed.

I was comparing between exactly those two. But I went to Ryobi since my lawn mower is also Ryobi, although a bit older model but it came with x2 of 4Ah 18V One+ (not HP) batteries. I also have a couple more Ryobi outdoor tools as well. So, sticking to the platform seem to be better idea.
I am surely missing out the extreme performance from XTR. But I'm quite sure that this Ryobi hammer drill can do anything I need. And the Ryobi kit also brings in an impact driver.

Kobalt has a 3 pc kit for 249 which comes with an ultimate output and 2.0 battery and the 900 lumens LED work light. 224 when it was on sale.

I love Ryobi. For the money, I don't think any brands compare. Of course, Milwaukee is the best, but if you can't afford that, go Ryobi.

Honestly, seeing how the Ryobi is only 18V compared to the 24V Kobalt I'm impressed, they're very close. 6V is not a small difference.

I'll let you in on a little secret. There's only 1 extra cell in the kobalt battery. When you step up to a 2p battery that difference is largely gone. Especially with what milwaukee pulls off with m18

I will have to see it and check it out, it’s a storage system to compete with Milwaukee and others. The concept is interesting

Thanks for putting in this work. I love my Kobalt tools. I would love if you considered what you are doing to our flag. I know it’s all trend with the blue lines but that is being malicious to our flag. I truly wish people would think about what it’s doing and stop.
Again though. Love what you do. If it wasn’t for the anti kick back we would see lawsuits lol

interesting comment, why is it malicious? blue collar trades built America and continue to do so everyday. It is respectful and honors the American history and represents support in every way. I support American values, history and its people especially our military, police, fire and medical field. If anything I would think the opposite. Do you have official documentation that would support your comment? If so I am open to reading and respecting it.

@@livefreeandtoolon it’s modifying our flag. I get where you are coming from but a fact is still a fact. 20 years of active duty we had to take pristine care of each flag we touched. If it hit the floor we had to replace it. None of that matters here though, just a story. Also America was built long before the Industrial Age. I know you mean well.
