Been playing 4-5 weeks now and I’m absolutely addicted. Most useful to me was the forced evidence and the freezing temp stuff. I’ve known they exist but I always forget which does what.. so those screenshots will be very useful 😂
I appreciate the quick video and you getting straight to the point! Other videos similar will take 10+ minutes and not cover half as much
Thank you so much! Yea, i got tired of having to wait so long for anything possibly useful to find in a video lol. And it was always such a pain to find the forced evidences online, thought it was a no-brainer to add it here.
Also, what difficulty do you generally play at? Im always curious
@@floppyhare I play Professional and NM solos, I’ve been leaning more into NM lately. I’m still kinda “new” to the game so I’ve been information binging to get better 🤣
According to steam I’m at 70 hours, I’m level 530ish
Oh sweet! Its always nightmare for me now. Was thinking of doing a more advanced video in the near future, so hopefully thatll be helpful as well. Just depends on what happens when the new update hits.
@@floppyhare I enjoy NM more than the others. I just haven’t been playing long enough to know everything off of 2 evidence and that’s frustrating as heck at times 🤣🤣
for every single game that I play I use freedom units, except for Phas, celsius just feels better in this game and it's easier to read

i knew about some of these tricks just from playing/watching for hours, but i actually didn't know the freezing threshold for different temps. .1 other, 3 fog/clear, 5 sunrise. i can probably remember that.

You can also hear the ghost writing on a sound sensor to use the video camera for the room at large.

My tipp: when playing bigger maps turn brightness to 4 (max) and use candles to avoid dropping any sanity

ok, regarding the bone photo :) most photo's are only worth 5 bucks but the bone photo is worth 15 bucks ;) if you are playing for money then you MUST take that photo :)
The photo depends on how many stars you get. The bone, crucifix, and dirty water all give the same amount of money (max of $10). And i would have to disagree… $10 not multiplied by anything could be worth it, but time is money. If im speeding, i wont think twice about wasting time to go back for the camera if i can hurry back into the next match. $10 is $10… i can get way more money getting objectives and the correct ghost (which will get multiplied)

@@floppyhare Coming back from 7 straight hours of gameplay. This game is INSANELY difficult. Been on nothing but amateur and all the ghosts in the game seem the same but their differences are so so minimal like 24 ghost man, fr? With the same couple of models but different names at the end of a match. I wanna learn this but I kinda edging refund-ability. Especially at the start as it’s super duper slow with me and my guy looking around to come up on nothing even after the timer passed just to die to a random attack. So far it’s pretty frustrating sadly 😅.
Oh no! I know when i started, it was ROUGH. I ended up putting it away for a few months. Then i tried it again and absolutely adored it. I do have a ghost guide up as well if youre interested. My suggestion is to watch some beginners guides to get a good feel, or if you wanna stop by while im live, id be more than happy to help if im playing phasmo (which is pretty regular). Good luck!

The fact that most players don’t even play on the top two difficulties is insane to me. The game is honestly starting to get boring on Nightmare. Point is STOP BEING A WUSS and play on nightmare you will naturally just get better.
While there are different thresholds on spookiness tolerance, I'd have to agree. I know when I started, I was pissing my pants doing solo amateur, but grew out of it. I'm so glad they finally came out with custom difficulty. How are you feeling about the "Insane" difficulty coming soon?
@@floppyhare I love that insanity is coming but honestly the wife and I are doing well with no evidence hunts that that’s become our go to setting with the custom difficulty.
@@whatjake7898 Dude, same. I do think having only 1 evidence will make it a bit easier to transition to no evidence for a lot of people, but I don't really see it being the new Nightmare. I will say though, sometimes no evidence takes a longgggggg time, so I'll probably dive into Insanity from time to time to speed things up a bit.
Cmon, don't do that, guys. There's lots of people who are casual gamers who get maybe an hour or two per week to game. And maybe they like to play on lower difficulties because they're still learning the game and it's still new enough to be spooky (which is a big part of the appeal). There's no need to be elitists or to poo poo how other people like to play, you never know what someone else's life situation might be.
@@hybridce99 oh, i'm not poopooing anyones abilities here, im speaking more so for those that refuse to increase after lots of time spent in game. speaking on the craziness of those not progressing is merely speaking on the less content and challenge that those individuals arent utilizing. again, i have no qualms with those who choose to stay at lower difficulties, or dont have the time (or skill, which is why i made this video... to help). But in my opinion, the game gets way better for those that attempt to progress further. thanks for the comment!
You should add segments/video chapter feature for each ghost.
I definitely would have, but I dont have access to that feature without being monetized :(

Ghost orb, are not evidence for the mimic, that why allways showed even in 0 evidence. Btw. Twins have forced emf 5 right? And there are other small things to find out the correct ghost type...like Oni can't do ghost mist.

Is one of the tips really to not take a photo of the bone? lol why?
One of the the tips is that you dont HAVE to. Sometimes its more worth it to finish the round and get back in another vs. spending more time for $10
@@floppyhare I wouldn't really call that a tip. The hard part is finding the bone not taking a picture of it, plus the bone picture is one of the best pictures in the game. if that's a tip then you might as well have not taking a ghost photo or not doing objectives as a tip too. Or why even play? Here's a tip just spawn sunny meadows and randomly choose ghosts on 24x then leave until you get some right and you don't have to take photos or do objectives or risk anything at all not even your time you can afk and do it. pro tip
You know what, youre right. Shouldnt have even bothered spending 16+ hours making a video trying to help others do better, because one person had an issue with me telling them that sometimes its not worth it going all the way back for a camera. My apologies.
@@floppyhare Sometimes its not worth going back for a camera for a ghost photo or items for certain objectives either then. Sometimes it might not even be worth risking anything at all and randomly guessing. Maybe it could help someone who doesn't wanna waste their money or time playing the game. Your other tips are fine
