Wasn’t AD having problems with injuries before he went to LA? He needs to get himself in top shape and be 19-20 AD again. LeBron can’t keep doing what he’s doing when he’s about to reach 40.

it's not about his conditioning, it never has been, it's the way he plays and the level he plays at at and the motor he plays with, it can put him in some positions to get injured, but their usually just small ones like in NOLA and first year in LA

@@Rei-bg3rf except even in the regular season in 2020 he actually played most games and pretty healthy while dominating in the process. All star, 1st team all nba and 2nd in DPOY (should've won it). It's not fair to assume that he would get injured if jot for the bubble when everyone was in the same situation. So yeah, that's definitely not the only reason.
Go rewatch AD in the regular season b4 the bubble and u can tell how great and different he was back then.

@@adriandantedanosos4146 Wow. What an old post.
Needless, I should remind you that Giannis has been injured too and the ideal, the hope, is for everyone to play all 82 games. However, are 82 game seasons necessary? 65 games a season would be fine too.
Injuries happen and people heal. Kobe healed, Derrick Rose healed and Isaiah Thomas healed too. Paul George healed. Lonzo Ball can and eventually will heal as well. It's just a matter of time. If the issue is forced, a player could reinjure themselves or cut their career short.
Hell, I believe if given enough time, even Ben Simmons can recover from his mental funk too.

He slimmed down when he suffered his injury against the Wolves and dominated against the Sixers. Maybe once training camp starts he’ll have had an off season where he’s slimmed down and more agile like in 19-20.

Man is just not built to play all of a deep playoff run, let alone a full season. AD has been dealing with injuries his entire career. Idk if it's conditioning or how he does his offseason routine but I feel he hasn't been healthy to be that superstar at an elite level. The 2019-20 season was the only time he was healthy because they had four months off due to Covid and the season was in the bubble where they won that chip. Since then, he hasn't been the same with two back-to-back seasons with so many injuries and I feel he is so fragile that a tiny move can cause many problems. He is always dealing with small injuries that ended up taking a while to heal up. Sure, he can dominate the game at a certain level but other times he is hardly reliable. He's only 29 and whatever offseason training he does, it doesn't reflect on when he plays. I remember those who say he was better than Giannis but that's not the case. I feel that he can be that superstar but it's so frustrating that he can't stay healthy for major of the season.
