The first IM song I learned how to play was Phantom of the Opera.. I found that not bad just a lot of stretching :) 😊

@@SamuraiFingers that timing is hard for sure :) I can only imagine trying to do it with a full band and how that timing would be :)
Aces High, Powerslve, Rime, Icarus, Flash of the Blade (the whole song is one of the easier ones), Revelations, etc are just as easy if not more so.

@@SamuraiFingers, such a great response to another's thoughts. Almost any song by Maiden has fairly easy riffs. Many times they get ramped up after (Aces High)
Rock on man! I don't ever wanna be that guy that argues with people on the internet (although I have been guilty of it time to time) but we all have differing opinions on what is easy or hard etc. I think from a teacher's perspective trying to get the most "mileage" for a learner was the frame I made my choices from. But you've got some good picks for sure. (Although I might argue that while Rime is "easy" in and of itself -the sheer length and timing/counting of the repeats makes it a bit of a bear! Ha!)
