I disliked the remake mainly for three reasons (from less to more important to me): 1. The original looks and plays well enough for me. 2. If you don't have a powerful PC (GTX 1650 is not enough), due to the lower resolution of textures and the upscale, the remake arguably looks worse than the original. That has happened to me before, that a remake in low quality looks worse than the original in high quality and I don't think that should be a thing. I think when that happens the remake isn't really "necessary", but most people may disagree. 3. The spanish voices. I, as a native spanish speaker, loved the voices of the original. In particular the "Detrás de tí imbécil". It sounded so goofy and funny and Ioved it. In the remake, it's just generic spanish which is kinda boring to hear. I think the remake is pretty well made but I cannot really feel like playing it.
It's funny to me how often people complain about RNG likelihood of enemies getting stunned for melee, because that's one of the best changes in the remake. One headshot for melee is just too exploitable. It's just too easy to repeatedly headshot one guy once and then melee a huge group. Same with the lack of laser sights and random spread for weapons - it's just better balance to have some handguns be less accurate at long range, but do much more damage. You want pin-point accuracy? You can have that, but your potential DPS will suffer. It also makes the sniper rifle more unique and useful, since you can't always rely on the pistol.
Thought I'd comment this on your most recent video -- but I absolutely love all of your videos, you are a phenomenal writer.
Bro, is it a utube bug? I checked the list of your video and it says that absolutely each of them uploaded 8 months ago
These videos are all re-uploads from my old channel. You can see the original upload date in the description of each video.
@@MonochromeDisposition I see
its somewhat funny how you just come in full force without any introduction, pretense or stating something.
