Simply the most underused character in the anime. It's amazing how many inconsistencies there are in this fight and the huge potential wasted that was Stark, I think we're all sure he must not have shown all his power either and knowing him, he certainly wanted to lose because his mentality is too easily shaken by his teammates.
Throughout the fight, Shunsui was gradually getting more and more serious and focused… the difference between him and Starrk, was that while both of them are laid-back lazy fellows, Starrk didn’t feel like exerting himself for anything, while Shunsui is actually VERY motivated to protect the Soul Society.
The difference is that Shunsui is stronger than starrk

Starks death wasnt really confirmed and he does look like a character that could be redeemed, Im guessing he appears in the manga at some point.

some of the swords appear again as grimjow and hallibel i think i spelled it right

Nope. Starrk dies right here. Completely underutilized. I'm pretty sure he's mentioned in one of the light novels as being insanely strong before his death, but he never makes another physical appearance.

That being said with the recent Hell arc that's been announced/teased when the manga returns, it seems EXTREMLY likely that he'll be making a return at some point in his true form with his unrestrained power. Seeing as Szayelaporro Granz was the Hell Jailer they chose to introduce us to first, and seeing as he's WAY more powerful then he was as an Espada I think it only makes sense that the other Espada are all also Hell Jailers or some kind of equivalent with how much more powerful their souls are than his own.
@@KingKP96 "completely underutilized" and that's exactly why I believe his end completed the theme of his character perfectly. A satisfying end to a character which is rare for bleach.

Shunshui is the best captain for sure!!!
Starrk took on two senior captains and two Vizard captains. With that numbers advantage, Shunsui won't need his bankai to land a critical hit at some point. Starrk isn't Aizen. He's bound to loose against four captain-class Shinigami.

Kyouraku shikai is not enough to beat Stark that's obvious but two ex captain Vizards and sneak attack made it possible. Bankai Kyouraku claps Stark tho. That's all.
And you need to know that kyoraku is also holding back not getting so serious
He doesn't want to experience loss.

Still wondering why he STILL didn't used it for Aizen. He bodied 1st espada with ease tho.
Probably just didn’t have an opportunity where his allies were far enough away to escape the effects 😅
His bankai should not be seen by people he cares about, that's all I'm going to say without spoilers

It’s funny how these reactors think stark character is complicated when he isn’t. Imagine if they watch Yu Yu hakusho where they have 2 complicated characters like Toguro and Sensui.
I mean, Sensui is 7 characters so I’m not entirely sure if that counts 🤣

...What makes him simple? Naruto simply wants to be Hokage, but when you decipher his character you see the complexities in his character. You can easily oversimplify him as just a lonely guy, but the dichotomy of his values makes him complex. Like Espada 4 is just a nihilist...but he has ton of curiosity too, he actually wants a purpose after the fight with ichigo.
@@jestapath7373 nah, starkk is the definition of a simple character. he had no growth or development. there were no complex emotions. he is just a lonely guy. you can certainly read too much into and start dissecting parts of his character you imply exist, but he seriously does not have enough screen time to be anything but 1 note.
