Yes, indeed! John Trudell was a great poet, musician & philosopher. He was wise, & had a good spirit. Years ago, I attended a concert in Albuquerque, where he opened for Bruce Cockburn, & was much more impressed with him than I was with Bruce, even though I was a fan of both. I still feel honored to have had the privilege of seeing him perform in person.

If the proposed solution in this speech is identitary, then this means I should identity and cling to the "White race" and also Male culture. I can't do that, sorry. Neither I can support the idea that "Whites" as one people, and race. THere are NO races, at least defined by 4-5 colors. This is a RACIST construct that is the very product of centuries old imperialism... going back to the Roman empire, at least. Of course I ain't saying the land defenders above are racists... just that they're somewhat misguided in their ideas and should consider questionning a few things they take for granted. And where is the "I" and the "you" into this, where is the person, and personal experience? How long are we going to sweep the individual under the carpet of big abstractions and ideologies? I'd rather oppose the individuality to the identitary. Every person matters (especially when these persons get to defend the Earth) and this is what "race", among other abstractions, tends to make us forget. Nobody's a nobody. At least that's how I think it should be, between people who respect each other. TLDR: I will not go and support this as long as I don't hear a call for "every person" to join in. I don't wanna end up in a racially-divided camp.
