I got the HP300. Where I live, maintenance puts in new air exchane filters. They neglected to change it for 3+ years. The filter was so dirty it effected my breathing. The Shark HP300 cleaned the air so well, I could breathe again. So far, I'm really impressed on how well it performs. I have COPD, so I'm really sensitive to air quality. The Shark HP300 gave me my life back. It's like having an oxygen maker in my house! Good job Shark! ☆☆☆☆☆
I got the same one but mine's black. You're right it works great for cooking odors and also cleared the musty smell from my 900 sq ft basement in only a couple hours on high mode.
Salmon shouldn't smell. Have your wife soak it in water with lemon juice about 15 min. before cooking. 😊 My kid loves salmon. I cook it twice a week. No odors.
It’s a powerful unit for sure but I ended up returning it for the Winix model at Costco. The Winix has a much stronger fan but the Shark has a better particulate sensor.
Wait, so you ended up swnding this back and getting a Winix? How are you liking the Winix so far? Is it the same one at Costco? Debating on which to get.
Yes, that’s right. I sent it back because of its misleading claims on room size. Loving the Winix C909 from Costco, ended up getting two smaller refurbed C545 directly from Winix as well. Kind of annoying to set up the WiFi, but nice to be able to control them and monitor filter and air quality levels from my phone, which the Shark lacked.
My understanding is that it does! I can't find any info where they call out formaldehyde specifically, but it is supposed to filter VOCs. No app, all controls are just from the top of the unit; I just leave it on auto mode and it works well!

Yes, the Winix has a true HEPA!

There was no app or any WiFi related functions with this one.
How many sq ft will this do
They claim over 1000sqft, but that’s not accurate because that’s only 1/2 an air exchange in an hour. So it’s probably more like 300sqft.
