I think the reason why Shazam survived the omega beams was because of his power sets being linked to the old gods. Personally I think it would help Billy stand a chance facing a new god.

@@drusef9985 even if it was armor we can both agree that he did survive for a solid 3 to 4 seconds because he is still head so technically he is still alive from it and Omega beams dead bird through his armor so he did absorb some of the blow so with that being said he would have survived if Dark Side would have stopped hitting on what the mega Beam at least about 2 seconds in
Its an artistic choice, it doesn't have to do with damian at all, the writers decide who gets desintegrated, who gets sent through time, etc. Any human gets killed by them, its a matter of what "Darkseid" wants to do in that particular story.

Theory: In the movie The flash and superman were running(flying) away from the omega beams. I think the longer they run the more faster and powerful the omega beams get. That is why it hits Superman. Superman can outfly it but eventually the beam will catch up to him. Flash dodged but had to catch his breath. I think the omega beam gets stronger and faster the longer it has to go.

She is the only woman that Darkseid has ever loved, and even though he’s evil, the memories of her still fill him with affection. But not for Kalibak; Darkseid’s favorite child is,ironically, Orion, the one destined to kill him. So in Darkseid’s mind m, keeping Kalibak around is a way of honoring his mother

Shazam survived a bomb that would have killed any other member of the Justice League including Superman so it's safe to say that Shazam is the most durable hero. And I love how you mentioned Death Battle.
He's basically the most powerful member of the justice league, but beaches he's just a kid and doesn't have little to none experience compare to the treats he face or the other heroes, he always loses, black Adam is a bigger treat for having experience.

I think an explanation for why Shazam is perfectly unharmed by the omega beams while Superman is incapacitated by them is because Superman's power is finite he's just a really powerful alien. Shazam however has the power of 6 gods as long as they exist his power will keep him safe in his godly form

Actually no not at all. Galactus is made out of energy and he just absorbs energy. Darkseid shot his omega beams( a form of energy at galactus) if anything. He would have ate it and kill darkseid to take his omega power.

Calling anti monitor a galaxy destroyer is a huge disservice to the character considering he’s destroyed the infinite multiverse. Also Darkseid is much more powerful than galactus and should of done far more damage to him. Darkseid took on the anti monitor after all, a being who, as I already said, can destroy the multiverse.

Personal opinion:
I feel that Shazam managed to take the Omega blasts in Justice League: War better than Superman because of the source of his abilities. While yes, many would say that his power stems from the Old Gods, it should also be noted that his power is MAGICAL in nature, whereas Superman's is inherited by genetics. Perhaps Shazam can take it better because of some enchanted form of protection?

Technically Damian did survive the Omega Beams in Justice League Apokolips War. He did die, but Raven brought him back life, healing his injuries, so technically he survived.

No if he died then he died. That’s like saying that a character survived being shot in the head because he was resurrected after death. Since the shot caused death then being resurrected does not erase the fact that you were killed by it.
Uh, no? He was struck by the beams and they killed him, therefore he did not survive. What happened to him afterward is irrelevant.

In the case of Injustice 2, even though the game never explained it, the comicstold us that the only reason any "normal" human, such as Batman and Harley Quinn, can tank and deliver as much damage as Superman was because Lex Luthor made a super drug that made it possible for any normal/powerless hero/villain to go toe-to-toe with Superman. SInce they're as tough as Superman, then they can take a hit from Darkseid's omega beams.

Well, Galactus isn’t realy a push over, but it does depend on his state of hunger. A fully feed Galactus would defenitly be a good fight for Darkseid, but if his starving I don’t think he would stand a chance.

Maybe next you should do the Lantern Corps of Jedi or Lantern Corps of characters from animated series such as Ben Tennyson, Rex Salazar, Danny Fenton, etc.
