They really put Adam through the ringer in his last 6 months didn't they. However it was great to see that the fallout from Bobby's death lasted more than a few weeks like most H&A deaths. Great acting from both Mat, Kate and Lynn too!
I agree, it was good to see the fallout of something serious lasting for months instead of just a couple of weeks. It was also good to see Mat finally given some more dramatic material. In my opinion he was very under-used during most of his years playing the comedy buffoon when he was capable of much more.

Though Adam did show traces of Skinner at times in 1990-91 (after he broke with Maz) He even want to quit after a year but was talked into staying 4. Too bad they turned him back into an asshole in 1999.
@@hathe90s45 I agree. Even before Bobby's accident I always thought he was treated pretty poorly by most characters. True he liked his schemes but he also had a big heart and really cared about all the others.
It's early Irene different terms of affection and different writers but this would've been the first time Irene really showed viewers and locals her caring side when she first arrived
Yeah this was the era where they wanted to get viewers onside with Irene (after she'd previously been a villainous character) so she had lots of little stories like this.
It was weird people didn't give up on Adam Cameron after Bobby Simpson's accidental death and 13 years later Jesse McGregor accidentally killed Chloe Richards and even Alf Stewart saw him as evil after working with both characters in his store and bait shop for years very ironic
Yeah I guess the only difference that could explain it was that Adam was an innocent accident whereas Jesse had been drink driving and was therefore more culpable.
