Thank you for your video! I have had quite a number of iPhones over the years. My iPhone 12 is the worst for call quality. Unfortuantely, I have not found any critique by anyone on call quality as it relates to different manufacturers. I use a phone for calls, emails, and text. It is quiter irritating when people cannot hear me or when there is too much static for me to hear them. From your perspective, which phones provide the best call quality?
    Thank you!

I love that the pixel 8 pro features the option to take 50 MP images, but I would love it more if it gave us the option to scale it. Like instead of 12 MP, why not give us the option to take a 24 MP image? Seems doable since its scaling to 12 megapixels anyway. Maybe a future update will allow for more options. Of course I can always take a 50 MP image and manually scale it down anyway. But an automated feature would be nice.

P8P is the better phone of those, but when we consider others, its like this
s23u > p8p > s22u, but...if we took also iphone and some chinese brands, who knows
Imo, the s23u is on par with ip15pm from both worlds android and ios. It can be surpassed only by s24 ultra coming now or other phone that would bring it hard. What makes me dislike xiaomi, realme, oppo etc is only their weird looking screens and UI

Pictures taken with iPhone really look dull and flat by default. But there is easy solution - just set up more contrasty photographic style in settings. Then the pictures are much much better... they are actually very very good.
The main strengths of iPhones is no the Max but regular iPhone 15 Pro, which offers excelend 3x zoom in really small body, No other brand offest good telephoto in 6.2 inches body. Samsung S24 has significantly worse telephoto than iPhone.

During a blind test , pixel 8 pro came out to be the winner over the iPhone 15 pro max and even against Samsung s23/24 uktra. It was done by MKBH where he tested 24 high end phones. I agree with you. iPhone still edges out in videos over the androids super phones.

The only reason I would take the pixel is if it was on sale. In the US it's $859 for 256gb for the holiday season. The iPhone is $1199. However, at regular price $1059 vs $1199 then there is no way I would pick the Pixel 8 Pro over the 15 Pro Max.

I did NOT trade in my 4 XL obviously. It's a fast phone and battery life is insanely different which is a good thing. It's slim and light. It's protected by a screen protector and has a nice case. For $10 a month on the Verizon deal, I love it.

Personally I am never a fan of comparing Android vs Apple because it is two different operating system and everyone has their own preferences regardless of how much better is one over another. But as a Samsung (mostly) and Google user, the pixel 8 pro is better than the 7 pro but not better than the s23 ultra. The pixel 8 pro is still not worth $1000. I know the argument about CPU is not indicative of every day uses, but you still paying that much for a weaker chip. Although better than the 7 pro, the 8 pro still has connectivity issues, and battery life.

In returned the Pixel 8 Pro after 3 months and picked up the Pro Max. Main reason: the Tensor 3 chip. A mid range chip trying to perform at flagship levels and it can’t keep up. The camera experience is sluggish and really detracts from the whole experience and video is unusable. The images out of the pixel also look massively over processed and sharpened…if you like that hdr look then fine, just realise that there is no way of turning it off (even in pro mode). Also the hdr rendering of highlights in the Google Photos app is so jarring and artificial and again, no way of turning this off. You may get higher resolution images out of the pixel, and slightly more detail (if you are pixel peeping), but over all the images out of the Pro 15 Max are far more pleasing and natural imo
