Glad to see you included Equilibrium in part 2. Equilibrium is my favorite movie. It's my number 1. It's the best combination of feverish violence (but remarkably very clean), a real potential sci-fi future that we are getting closer and closer to, a really good story, beautiful choreography and cinematography, pristine acting that that is a bit campy at times and timelessly amazing in others, it has a wonderful character arc (multiple), and a very satisfying ending.
I am a true movie fan. As in, I know the industry inside and out and the history. A true movie fanatic. So, obviously, my top movies list has much more than my controversial #1 pick. I don't dare say I know more than most movie fans. But I am definitely one of those nerds that really enjoys videos like yours and CinemaStix. When Nolan is fixated on Bale for a role in his movie of super hero you know what he is capable of
He was never arrested. In England, assault can be verbal. His estranged mom and sister, remember he left England years before with his DAD, when his parents divorced, were camped out at his hotel when he was in town for a Batman premiere. When he arrived THEY verbally abused his wife. He verbally told them to leave. From what is heard they wanted money. They said unpleasant things about his wife. He is very protective of his IMMEDIATE family..his wife and children. I give him props. Secondary Family can be a crutch.
Equilibrium is a top tier movie.
