Another great race between Barry Lee and Duffy Collard. Racing at speed and so close. Two outstanding professionals. In 1974 I was four years old, I was taken to Wimbledon when I was five or six and loved it. Last race I went to I would have been about twelve. Though i always watched on World of Sport. Dan Hannam never mind duffy , if a silly Scottish driver in an imp hadn't fuxxxed it up 196 kenny ireland would have been there , I was there , forget world of sport
Nigel King was always a tad biased towards Barry Lee. As a Scot I also found he had the annoying habit of often not referring to a Scottish driver by his name but simply calling him "the Scotsman".
Ya know what, I'm 14, so you'd probably think I'm all youth and that, but I'm from Aldershot and so there the Track I use to go to. So in short, I'm a youth who think's older Spedeworth was better :)

Where was George Polly in this race ? I got Mick Collards autograph at Walthamstow in 1970 . He had a white car then as I remember .
