The Iraq War Series: The Run-Up to the War | LIVE STREAM

2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq. This is the first panel in a series that seeks to provide a fact-based analysis of the Iraq War-the run-up, the war itself, and the aftermath. The panels, moderated by AEI’s Danielle Pletka and Gary Schmitt, will feature decision makers and experts who will discuss the decision to go to war, the conduct of the war, and the years that followed. The actual successes and failures of the Iraq War, the object of mythmaking and politicized history, provide important lessons for US defense and Middle East policies going forward.
