- Hey y’all 👋🏾 so when I first moved to Kuwait I was completely lost on where to go to get certain things. This video shares on of my favorite little shopping areas in Kuwait. I hope you all enjoy.

Arrived to Kuwait a month ago from the US and the KD is expensive. I'm in Salmiya and researching the best places for everything. I do like Ambassador Grocery and a few other stores in the area. I'll have my driver bring me to Shoe Souq today. Was looking for a new spot on my day off 👍
Hey love. Try the Sultan Center and Lulu’s. In comparison to US the prices here are relatively comparable. There are some things that are a little higher and some that are lower. And also, if you’re purchasing imported items, they’re definitely going to be more expensive than what you’d pay in the states because of the import fees.

Thank you so much. Im glad you enjoyed it. I haven’t found any saunas yet but I go to the Al Shaheed Park, Marina Walk, and out to eat and stuff. There are some game rooms here that are pretty nice as well.
Honestly you can find something in Bahrain. I've been there they have good shopping.
Yeah I’ve been quite a few times but this trip was super short and we had events planned each day for my friends birthday. So needless to say I wasn’t going to have time to hit any malls. But I figured it out lol 😂

Hey love. They have some men's shoes here. I think the largest they go up to is a men's 12 (US).
I am headed there in July due to work. I heard it's extremely hot. I wear wigs. Are there african american hair salons in the area? Will I be extremely hot with a wig on?
Heyyy 👋🏾 yes the weather right now is extremely hot. It’s averaging about 110 degrees everyday and can get up to the 120s or higher. I wouldn’t recommend wigs during the summer months. There are African salons here that do really good hair. One of them is Rashidat braids and also Amel African Salon. I believe both can be found on Instagram.
What is the best region to work in Kuwait
Hey love. I guess it would depend on the location of your job. There are a lot of expats in Mahboula, Hawally, Mangaf, and Salmiya.
