      Hope it works out well for ya 🤘. As others have said, you can do it without taking the calipers off, but I like to clean the brake dust off the pistons.

    Thank you so much for this video. I am a horrible mechanic but you explained this and broke it down very simple. I had absolutely no problems doing my 1st brake pad change. I hope you make more videos.

    Good video bro! I just ordered a set of pads off amazon front and rear for $26.99. They are Sintered so they will last long! Just bought a 2011 two weeks ago and brakes squeak. I see meat left but Ill changed them and keep the old ones for emergency!

      @jamesbronson3347 Před 3 lety

      You would also have to remove the retainer clip correct?

      How do you push the pistons in for the new pads to fit in?

    Mine is a little loud when I'm braking. (Not squeekin) Do you think I need to change the pads??

    • @duff8402
      @duff8402  Před rokem

      Sounds like you've got metal on metal. Definitely need to inspect them ASAP

    Those pads looked like new.. send them to me... id use them.. 😆 factory front pads should last about 30k or more...maybe 60k

      They weren't terrible but the rotors were warped all to hell. I was just changing the cheapest thing first to make sure it was the rotors.
