  • Haaland 10th goal🔥 Guardiola reaction as Man City stung by Bailey equaliser🔥 Man City vs Aston Villa 1-1 post match
    - Despite enjoying a 72% share of possession against Aston Villa across the 90 minutes though, Man City have ended with a higher percentage in three of the previous five Premier League matches this season.
    - Haaland will rightfully take the plaudits, the Norwegian’s goal was the culmination of a typically impressive team move.

Haaland didn't need the record but City needed to win and they should have. The record is insignificant

Haaland got speed and endurance. I have seen him run trough defenders from the midfield like Messi. Not with dribbling a lot, but he has a way of just running trough defenders like an accelerating train. If he is going to work in the 9 possition, his teammates need to increase their game sende. Haaland is two steps ahead of even his own teammates right now. If they dont adjust, maybe try to play Haaland a little differently. Seems like pep wants him as a pure striker and he is the best in the world, but Foden, Walker etc needs to open their eyes. Haaland moves fast and they need to actually predict where Haaland will be two steps ahead of time. He will be in the perfect spot to score and they need to connect with him.

True. Personally I think they needed to play two strikers in this game. They had trouble feeding Haaland all game because he was too isolated and got bracketed by the Villa defense. A second striker would have given them more options in the final third. One other problem is that because he is a freak, passes are either too short or two long. There was a pass from Cancelo in the first half that was a hair too hard. Weight that pass properly and it is probably a goal. I think that was Cancelo putting extra mustard on because of how fast Haaland is. It was just too much.

While i think city was wasteful with passing today and not on fire in the first half a point is better than none. I don't see this as something that will happen often and i am not worried by the team above us either.🤔

Villa deserved a point anyway. Good defending and counters. What else are they supposed to do against City.

Yeah, I would definitely agree with you ..... Villa did defend really well, but City blew big, big chances!
Haaland just rolls on scoring though, doesn't he?

@@barryh.4220 Foden at least had one shot from tight angle where EH was as usual in a better position, As long as the game is undecided he should probably stoop that.

Nah,, I'm more of a Man united fan. Also I'm Norwegian so I am a fan of Haaland and Odegaard. But I can appreciate good football, and I though the goaltending from Emiliano Martinez was pretty good today. City were denied on multiple occasions when they seemed destined to score.
