Put respect on the work rate of Cavani and Matic, literally changed the game for us when they came on!
I think they opened opponents s defense and brought pressure importance of experience in big games that is y we need anew couch to see that Ole is not useful.
Respect to Ole for the right subs, and change in formation towards the end. Credit where credit is due
Matic literally was telling his players to calm down and think everytime he was in possession, whole midfield aura changed after he came on .
Matic's mentality is superb. His Game control is fantastic.

@@Thatguystill Both the pass and the strike were amazing. The pass had a perfect weight, less spin on the ball, falling right on Telles' path was all measured. But yeah the technique was more difficult than the pass, to be able to control that first time, to generate the power he did was amazing

Lol, yeah. I was one of those people who thought that maybe McTominay could develop into a proper 6 but it's just not his game. He's a box to box player who can play similar roles to Park and Fletcher but he just can't control the tempo of a game, take the ball from the defenders and move it between the lines etc. That's not a knock on him, it's just not his game. If we're going to play a 4-3-3 we need a world class DM. A 25 year old Matic would be great but unfortunately he's not 25 lol.

Proud of the lads tonight, a depleted defence, backs up against it in the media and got a crucial win... time to build on this and go on a winning run like we did last season.
