From an American's perspective I do not find Aminata futuristic, but from the tradition of Diva power singers that have been around since the 1990's, They are almost a dime a dozen since the Phillippines is basically training its female singers to mimic and copy the divas. But, Aminata does have one of these great voices and she does seem to have great control though. The song "Love Injected' is neither very creative or melodic. What really pulls her effort down is her personal appearance. She is, and I am being kind here, a 3 out of 10. Also, I know in her interviews she is not charismatic or sharp witted. For her to be an international star she will have make herself more glamorous for the camera. With that face and her anorectic skeletal appearing body, no wonder there are few close ups and so much of the song is shot from a distant.
George Rogers Ou You are so wrong. First of all, She is not anorexic at all. Wealthy Girly! Secondly, You do not need to be glamorous as Paris Hilton to be famous in Your country. Be yourself and that's, what Aminata is!

Also, maybe it's the last time to undsrstand what is the natural beauty and what does it means to take public with singing the song in a long dress, not in the parody of the dress...

From time to time you will find something good, even really good, but it will never win the contest. This particular song was too unconventional, too progressive and too ambitious for the eurovision. I´m completely in love with this song since the first time I heard it.That was by far the best song this Year at the ESC. To those who say that she is ugly or just screams her soul out of her body, I say dafuq is wrong with you? She puts all her feelings and her power into that song and has an incredible aura or presence,even though I wasn't there live. This was SO good and I was so scared, since Latvia and Israel were my two favorites of this semi and they got announced as the last two. But she vocally slayed. I can't even believe this, because when I first listened to all the 40 songs I was literally yawning at this song, but now it's one of my favorites. It's magical.

Alcatraz Crysis I think Lithuania's song was okay, though the fact he kissed her was kinda like an advertisement of their performence and I really don't like things like that... once it'd be enough but when they do the same on final... though we (Poland) did kinda similar thing, not to offend Monika but showing her dancing was in a kind of bad style... the voice and song should win. Not to mention our (Polish) song has better lyrics in Polish and the translators did a shitty job (this with brigdes was peobably because we wanted to fit into the this years Eurovision motto (because in Polish version of this song there was nothing about any bridges) and I'm really curious how we got into the final... I am Lithuanian, I live in Ireland, but i will vote for this song. Absolutely magical, the singer is amazing, you just can't take the eyes out of her, she hypnothises. Her voice is not so great, but the echoes helps her a lot. Good luck, broliukai.
