Some negative comments on the backing vocals, make me laugh. The strength of the song exists through this intense combination with the backing vocals. Exceptionally well-written by Aminata herself. Those who oppose the backing vocals haven't understood anything about the song or about what Aminata is trying to say/portray. That's understandable, so vote for a mediocre country! Aminata, stay true to your intentions and the votes will keep coming (anyway). Best of luck! ;-)
Hun, two of those three backing singers are fine, but one of them sounds like an old horny cat. I don't see what purpose that would have in portraying anything. Love the song otherwise.
sopon akhasvil I think this is the Nishliu-effect (Albania ESC 2012). Many people don't like getting this injected, but some love it. As these people are all professionals, I cannot imagine this to be not intended. However I also think they should arrange her performance better. I bet darker voices with more substance would perfectly complement her. Go Aminata ! Our entry from Germany is so flat in comparison.

This song is fascinating and interesting from beginning till its end. It sounds different to "classical" or "normal" ESC entries and that's why I think it's brave to choose this song. Not everytime brave's rewarded! She has a strong voice and knows exactly how to use it. Also she's beautiful - a point that never should be underrated - and has a great stage presence. But I was wondering, if I see a nearly artlike unit or if I see an artificial unit. I mean if every single part of this song is naturally fitting together or if they're put together forcibly. For me this entry consists of several components, but they're not brought together in a way they make a unity. Not yet!
It's a bit different than some other pop ballads, since it has strong R&B, world, electronic, and house flavors in there. However, this is a good kind of different, not a joke kind of different, and I think Latvia will be rewarded very well this year.
Really love the indian nasal singing, Bollywood influenced start of the song! So juxtaposed. But will it get anywhere ? i think we all know it's not really predictable .
I love the song is my favourite over all and ever in euro vision and if aminata sees this do the euro vision live performance exactly like you did in Latvia
