Depends if you're talking about games or comics, in the Archie Comics there was a Sonic from an alternate universe referred to as Anti-Sonic, apart from wearing sunglasses, a jacket and boots, he looked exactly like Sonic, that is until he became Scourge where he absorbed energy from the Master Emerald and had his colors switched around (blue eyes and green quills), no longer looking like Sonic, he couldn't frame him for anything anymore and basically spent the rest of his time fighting Sonic, losing and then leaving, eventually he was arrested by the Zone Cops and that was pretty much it. Technically in the games we have the "Storybook" spinoffs with Secret Rings and Black Knight where we have other characters that just so happen to look like Sonic characters, for example, in Black Knight the Knights of the Roundtable look identical to Knuckles, Shadow and Blaze but are considered entirely different characters
