  • This 10 minute class of gentle yoga twists will help you release tension in the mid/upper back - areas where we can typically store tension that causes back pain.
    We focus on keeping length in the spine as we move into seated twists:
    like:
    → Marichyasana C: bit.ly/2J6Ekid
    → Half lord of the Fishes pose: bit.ly/2xbMIHB
    You can use this yoga sequences at the start of the day and feel the difference ☀️

    Thank you for this video, Esther. If you can, could you provide more explanation on what you mean when you instruct that the one side is 'receptive'? I'm not familiar with this term.

    • @markfyfe2996
      @markfyfe2996 Před 10 lety

      I think Esther means relaxed or accepting - the muscles should stay relaxed on one side of your body to accept the twist. The other side of your body is active or encouraging the twist - the muscles this side do the main work of turning your torso into the twist.

    Hi Esther, thank you for this, i just wanted to ask if you ever use something like foamrolling or triggerpoints? I have got a bunch of knots in my calves which are pretty stuborn not responding to anything i tried thus far, resulting in random cramps.
