I didn't use the QR1 Lite at all so I don't know if the metal QR1 improves experience in comparison. I just don't like how QR1 Lite works and the fact that it might break.
Lite breaks and bends and the metal one doesn’t sit flush on CSL DD for a lot of people but if you just pop the safety screw in it fixes it. It exactly “quick” at that point but really solid!!
I find the QR1 flexes at the shaft due to poor tolerances on milling the aluminium and that the QR1 lite flexes because it's made of plastic. On balance I'd say the lite is the better system - It's cheaper and performs the same overall. What we really need is a metal version of the lite. That would be perfection!
TgtII is great on GT7 but the Logitech G pro takes the same technology [trueforce] and puts it in 11nm DD amazing ! You wont get feedback thru the pedals with the fanatec but G-GTII and G pro both have it .
I have the wheel stand 2.0 with a g920 hooked up and while the stand doesn't shake too much, the wheel is very loud. Was that the 5NM or 8NM, how sturdy was it with the DD and would you say the GT DD is silent or at least very quiet?
With 5Nm the GT DD Pro is pretty quiet, but not as quiet as I was hoping. The noise comes from the quick release when the FFB signal simulates vibration, the tape fix helps a lot but still not absolutely silent: www.reddit.com/r/Fanatec/comments/s31toa.
Just curious but does it handle well with your direct drive wheel with like no flex? Im also considering getting the gt seat add on since I already have the wheel stand like yours? but I’m also probably thinking if I should wait longer to get a much more higher end rig such as a playseat sensation pro (my ideal rig) in like 4-5 years at least. Just want to know your thoughts if this can handle well with a DD set up since I’ll also consider buying the higher end Logitech g pro set up🙏👍.
I switched to a much more rigid rig, F-GT Elite, after roughly 10 months of use. WS 2.0 and GT seat add-on are perfectly fine for the DD Pro at 8 Nm, but its weakness is the pedal plate of WS 2.0, it has too much flex with a load cell brake.
hi nathaniel, i bought the gt dd pro now. And i got the same next level gttrack. My problem is i dont have the screws to fix it. u used m6 screws but which length? 20mm or 25mm? cuz I have tried with 20 mm m6 screws and somehow its not really stable as i want it to. It does move a bit. I appreciate your help
The wheel base won’t be a problem, at least for < 10Nm ones. The real difference is the pedal plate, WS DD or GTtrack have strengthening bolts to better support the plate, I’m not sure how effective they are, but pedal plate flexing is definitely an issue on WS2.0 with a load cell brake.

I'm not an expert on FFB since I've only used G27 and G29 before and my real-life racing experience is solely from rental karts. There are plenty of great reviews out there that talk about FFB. But I think it's pretty good, I'm able to drive way more consistently in online races now compared to my days with G29.
It’s the WS 2.0. If you don’t need to fold it away very often, and has a plan to upgrade with the seat add-on, WS DD is better. Nice! 2 problems (IMO, obviously)I will avoid when I get mine: 1- Your pedals are apart! Do you use left foot for braking?? That´s bizarre! It´s not go kart, we are driving full vehicles and we should normally use right foot for both. I´d place them next to each other, mid and right positions. 2- Wheel is in front of TV screen. I don´t like it, I want to see full screen. Anyway, that´s due to your TV set height. Congrats!!!
1. I just didn't bother to adjust the gap back when I was filming. I received my load cell pedal later and have adjusted the gaps. That being said, in real-world race cars most professional drivers do left-foot braking. 2. Yeah, that's as low as my rig would allow while my arms are still in a good position. I adjusted the pitch of the base and from where I seat there's only a tiny bit of screen getting blocked.
@@Nathaniel_Wu muscle memory takes months to get used, and it’s used by the ones that came from uears of go kart only, it’s really hard to apply correct force when you were used to MANUAL gear… people usually will break too hard, and as a racer he just cannot spend months trying to re-learn what he already mastered… also, heel-toe is easier to adapt to. If you’ve never got used to manual gear, than it should be much easier to get used to left foot breaking. I’ve tried a couple times and it’s impossible after driving 20+ years in manual gear.
So for screws, if you're using the next level mounting solution, it's 4 M6-13's for the base, and 2 M6-25's for the pedals? I'm building the same setup. Just need to know which M6's to get at Home Depot.
Hey Ryan, did everything work out? I am getting the same setup. Did the pedals mount fine with 2 screws or did you need 4? The fanatec manual says you also have to use 2 screws for the pedal deck and also 2 for the pedals themselves as they also have 8mm holes. I saw in this video that only the pedal deck was screwed in, but I saw another one that also had the pedals screwed in to their rig.
Using two is fine. For the other two holes you can probably use some bolts and nuts, but it's purely optional. I can't even access those on my pedal tray, they are blocked.
It was Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 + GT seat add-on, it was pretty much equivalent to their GTTrack. Can't say I recommend it now though, get an aluminum profile rig instead.

What I have is the Wheel Stand 2.0 + GT seat add-on, but I believe the GTTrack is essentially the same in terms of mounting, it should be perfectly compatible with GT DD Pro. I later upgraded to the CSL Load Cell brake pedal and the rig is very solid, the only bit of movement is from the back of the seat because it's adjustable, but it's barely noticeable when I'm driving.

Hi, I really your video. I've noticed you replaced the default driving wheel rotating sleeve with quick release? Any reason why and what's the quick release part name and number if possible.
It's just Fanatec's standard QR1. I did it because don't like the way the default QR1 Lite works, and it might break and destroy the pins. In the end I don't like the GT wheel at all and I haven't been using it since I received my other wheels.

You probably got the impression from my GoPro cam, but that’s shot with a super wide view. This is a 65-inch tv, I get an FOV of about 60°, not bad at all for a single screen.
For how much this wheel costs the pedals are a joke, hell the thrustmaster t150s plastic pedals are the same quality for 200 bucks, t150 pro has better pedals, 3 aluminum pedals for how much cheaper?
To be fair, the CSL pedals that comes with the bundle costs only $80. If you buy the premium bundle, which has the load cell kit preinstalled, the pedal set still only costs $200.
I usually drive in hood view. I wouldn't use the cockpit view unless I had a tripple monitor setup (which GT doesn't support anyway). Cockpit view in GT really limits the peripheral vision, which is not good for online racing.

如果是指故障的话没有遇到，但是有主要的设计缺陷是快拆连接在高扭矩时容易发出声响，需要贴胶布或者用锁定螺栓。

You probably got the impression from my GoPro cam, but that’s shot with a super wide view. This is a 65-inch tv, I get an FOV of about 60°, not bad at all for a single screen.

For how much this wheel costs the pedals are a joke, hell the thrustmaster t150s plastic pedals are the same quality for 200 bucks, t150 pro has better pedals, 3 aluminum pedals for how much cheaper?
To be fair, the CSL pedals that comes with the bundle costs only $80. If you buy the premium bundle, which has the load cell kit preinstalled, the pedal set still only costs $200.
You need to drive “in car” view
I usually drive in hood view. I wouldn't use the cockpit view unless I had a tripple monitor setup (which GT doesn't support anyway). Cockpit view in GT really limits the peripheral vision, which is not good for online racing.
