    This is the real Brock. No character, no playing “heel” to amp up a fight, just a humble man who is grateful and happy to be where he is. All respect due.

    this honestly makes me have much more respect for Brock. i already had a lot of respect for him as a fighter but the fact that he's humble now makes it better. he used to be all cocky and annoying but now he's a lot calmer and just more humble.

    Watching this brings back good Summer 2010 memories. I remember being off for summer break from high school, used to play UFC Undisputed 2010 on my PS3, being so hyped for the big Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin match up at UFC 116, good times man. Beautiful memories.

    "Brock was a good guy through this entire fight. He did not talk a bunch of smack and he fought like a warrior," said Carwin. "He did what he needed to do to keep his belt and that is what being a champion is all about. I am going to have to claw my way back to the top but I wouldn't want it any other way. I know I belong with the very best; all I need to do is prove it again.
    "Losing is what happens on the way to winning. I will be back and better from the lessons learned in this fight."

    "The game plan last night was to be patient and let the fight come to you. When I had him in trouble the ref keep saying he was going to stop it and then towards the end of the 1st my body began to seize up," said Carwin. "In between rounds I could not move my legs and had what felt like a whole body cramp. My cardio was fine but my body was not. What can you do? You have to stand up and face your opponent."

    lesnar is becoming increasingly humble, so I am starting to like him. THing is, not every WWE guy can come on over and do what brock did. I was thinking "we", in the UFC community way back when he first started in ufc, were cursed. I was thinking that we were being mocked. Thing is, u won't find a guy with his heart. Coutoure came in and helped trained brock, and that is when I knew hed win ; even tho he didn't win the way I thought he would. He has work ahead, but hes a heavyweight beast.

    There are no winners or loosers. Literally there is but I think they all put on great show for us the fans abd they put everything on the line. So just stepping up to fight is a big statement of how gr8 this warriors are. I agree that they have different skill set and some superior to others but as a die hard fan, I appreciate every fight. Brock and Shane did put on a great show. Great job Brock. He was the better man that night.

    I have not seen the fight yet, but judging by this it was worth every penny for the pay per view audience. I'm glad it has not been a cake walk for Brock, but on the other hand he has not been humiliated either. He's no Mark Kerr, but then who is.

    2. Carwin is probably nr 1 when it comes to mobilazing energy and force, nobody can do it like he does, however the problem is just that he cant keep that force for very long. As soon as he improves that a rematch it is!!

    I gotta admit - Lesnar is slowly winning me over. he's smarter than he acts, and a better character too. He is a disciplined intelligent athlete who acts like a meathead, but the more i see him the more i think it's just an act. He hasn't proven himself to be worthy of the praise that his fans give him, but he has at least the potential to be a real Fedor - Gracie - Shamrock kind of figure in MMA history. I guess time will tell.

    Brock is the greatest, a true champion. As a fan I hated seeing him take all those early punches , but give Carwin credit. He is one tough hombre and may be a champ himself someday, just not during the Brock Lesnar era. One more comment about Brock Lesnar: the guy is very bright, and knows the value of promotion and sometimes "talking shit" is part of the role of "bad guy". In reality he is a good- natured and down to earth person---just not in the Octagon!

  • @xelha67
    @xelha67 Před 14 lety

    Freezyfy, I am right there with you. I was hoping he would lose and predicted Carwin would put his hamhocks on Brock in the first round and make him feel it. One or two more well placed shots would have meant a W for Carwin. But I give it Brock, he held in there, knowing Carwin would gas himself, and submitted him in the second round. Can't take that from Brock at all. This fight humbled him but an ass whippin humbles the best of men. I definitely have respect for him now.

So stop frowning on the wrestlers their training for amatuer wrestling is as intense as any training that any other athlete would do and they are trained to be exceptionally strong agile and fast. Fantastic artform
