Kinda want to put one on my knife lanyard for night fishing… lost a few knifes from setting them down and walking away once I catch a fish and loose my knife lol
I have a handful of these in knives, flashlight. When power goes out at night, easy to find my flashlight.
The actual luminous half life is 10 years according to the vial manufacturer, due to phosphor degradation.

There is a 342hz oscillation happening constantly as you speak, most likely due to a standing wave in the room. (pull up a tone generator and and you'll see what I mean)
How long will it glow in dark?
It’s debatable but when we first brought them on, the tritium should last like 12.5 years. The newer “spark” fobs probably may don’t last as long. I’ve had several for a couple years and I see no change yet.

@@luckyyou774 Non stop. I have them sitting on my night stand, hall tray, desk tray and they are always glowing. It's literally always glowing, you just can't see it in the light. Hope that helps.
