VERY well made video 🗣 Most of the Khrysalis hate comes from people who don't like replaying it, but it truly is one of the best worlds ever put into either game. Gotta look past the 277 quest aspect and enjoy the story to get the full experience 💯

To me it is 6/10 world. If it were at least shortened to 180 quests, would immediately shoot up to 9/10. -1 because areas could use more teleporters, like in celestia or marleybone, especially last wood - the place is huge!
Khrysalis may not be the best world in the game; but it was truly a world which stood out from others because here we are. Talking about it. 10 years later.
For me, the big problem is the pacing. U can say like story this story that, impact, tragedy, etc, but like it’s u getting sidetracked doing random things is what kills it for me. For it being 277 quests long (which is already bad enough). Part 1 is somehow paced so piss poor, that it feels like it’s 400 quests long, back to the last wood, back to moon cliffs, back to last wood, over and over again. Part 2 is somewhat better since yes the progression is more clear, but I’ve spent so much time just killing mobs rather than the boss fights, the hive/shadow palace fell somewhat flat for me since u just end up running up and down ladders before and after finding old cob, it was just, oh u beat me, go over there, oh shiii this mf wants to be a bee again, even old cobs like ayo why? What’s the point. It’s not the worst world for me but it being 75% of the entire arc 4 is way too long. It’s not an azteca but it’s definitely no Polaris or wiz city

Yeah they can def cut it back by quite a few quests, especially in Part 1.
i will admit khrysalis part 2 is a bit better but it only ups one tier for me.
