i bought the ion flamingo but i’ve been looking at reference pictures & it doesn’t look like the pink i want. i want a bubblegum pink do you think i should use a 20 or 30 developer?
@@neida1381 Yes using the 30 will cause it to lighten up and look more like a pastel color thats what I did if you use a 20 it will definitely make it darker and last longer
It’s such a pretty color! So you said your hair is blonde underneath…what level did you bleach it too? I got mine to a level 9, and the lady at Sally’s said the “pastels won’t show up unless I bleach it to a 10” but it’s like damaged (becuz I bleached it) and I’m scared to bleach more. Idk wtf to do. Lol
Lol I felt the same way when deciding if I was going to get the right color but I ended up liking it I was like 8-9 in the blonde level The original color is a lot more darker or brighter than what I ended up with but that’s why i used a 30 developer to make it pastel or lighter then the original color 😊 good luck

When I first bought it I did think it was going to be a pastel pink but ended up with a brighter pink my guess would be it just depends what tone you have before applying it and what number developer you used
@@kenz5276 my blonde tone before this color was a light blonde not yellowish this is what I got I feel that this flamingo color is more vibrant then pastel using a 20 in my experience with this color will give you a vibrant finish 😀 but I did 💗 the color

Hi , if you really want the color saturated I would go for the 20 but it really just depends what tone your hair is before applying the flamingo

No staining in my experience 😊

Yes it does but because it’s permanent it did last longer.

It depends on what color developer you use. It also depends on the color you started out with at first.
